I'm the first to admit I enjoy worthwhile procrastination, but I spend a lot of energy "living in my head" and monitoring my behavior all day and procrastinating about joining WP felt too much like that. It's nice to be relax here and be me.

I'm 50+ failed to complete a degree in AI which I find interesting and until recently lived in complete denial of being aspie.

Hey iceb--What is your AI interest? What's on your recommended reading list?

I'm keen on biologically inspired computing architectures right now, and anything sort of related to that area.

Sometimes I wonder if it would be possible to round up all of the AI "perservatores" on WP and collaborate on a project

perservatore is my made-up pseudo spanish term for "one who perserverates"...i.e., gets highly focused on one subject...

I've always thought there more of us older folks (beside my dad and my two brothers), but I didn't know how to talk to them.
I'm pretty sure I'd be momentarily stunned if someone asked me if I was an Aspie, because it happened once and I was!

I hoped that "preservatore" was a pasta dish and you were inviting us all over. Some people call it "making dinner", others call it a "science project". Depending on the results, I suppose.

This place fits me too. But it's a little tight at the waistband, due to all the preservatore.

I like your idea of food much better! I'm thinking of a kind of pasta shell stuffed with a fruity, nutty, cheese filling
with some kind of port wine sauce--an appetizer. What should we have for the next course?

I have to figure out what actually IS in the shells. Ricotta, chopped dried apricots and hazelnuts. Yeah? I'm guessing the sauce would be kind of strong. So the fruits and nuts would have to have flavor after baking.

Or we could put ricotta in the cooked shell, making a hole in it, and then place a stuffed prune that is filled with pineapple and cream cheese and is covered with walnuts.

Next course? Can't we just eat more preservatore shells?

Make up a name for something, and I'll figure out what could go in it. And that will be what we all have next.

I like your idea! Perservatores can be pasta shells with various kinds of interesting fruit and cheese fillings. We can make and eat lots of different kinds. Maybe some with ricotta a small amount of lemon flavored honey and bits of star fruit?
What kind of beverage goes with perservatores?
