My first episode was the one with the tribbles and I was eight years old. I thought it was really stupid at the time; little did I know I would become a big time Star Trek fan :-)

I voted Odo, the character I find most interesting and who I most relate to.

Does anyone else have fun memories of watching Star Trek for the first time?

I really wish I could remember the first time I saw it. I think I found a VHS tape at a used bookstore? I used to do that sort of thing a lot when I was little.

We also watched the one with the holographic Leonardo Da Vinci. When I asked my mum about it, she said 'he's a hologram, but he doesn't know that he's a hologram.' I pondered about that for quite awhile afterwards. When I was sick with an extremely sore throat, we watched the one with Kes reliving her past [or something like that].

I like both Data and Seven of Nine, but my favorite would certainly be the Doctor.

^I also like Doctor Who as well as Star Trek, so I often get confused about which Doctor I'm talking about.

Well, one could call the Doctor from Star Trek "Emergency Medical Holographic program" instead to avoid confusion, even though that term would include all EMH's from all Federation starships and not just specifically Voyager's one.

I really enjoy the Doctor on Voyager also, and he's nothing like Spock. What do you like best about him, PatrickJane?

I like best about him that he is often times very funny without being ridiculous or silly. For example, i like how he always gets annoyed when people forget to turn his program off when leaving.

I agree; he is very funny. I like his style of humor; part of what makes him unique.

I like all of the characters in the poll, but Data will always be my favorite.

I find this somewhat disturbing, like a tear in the fabric of the universe.

^My mum saw that years ago. She found it hilarious.
Did you know that Darmok is comrade spelled backwards with a k and missing the e?

Actually it's the other way around: comrade is Darmok spelled backward with a c and additional e.
