Brilliant! :D Thank you! That does indeed make it a lot easier! Also very interesting about William Blake, and I agree about the poem. :) Thanks again for explaining that to me, and for putting up with my, erm, not-knowing-anything-about-TEE-ness. Once more the English language appears to have escaped me! I swear that I must have a vocabulary that is similar in size to a grain of sand, or something equally as small. Brain not finding words so well right now!
Did you go onto further study after Year 12? Forgive me if that's a really dumb question. :oops: How did you find the whole school experience in general?

I thought my school experience as a whole was worthwhile and enjoyable. I am going to college now, which is going well.

I must have confidence in myself. This is where I get the feeling that I will pass all my tests.

Me? lol, no, I'm dumb. Well, I did go to university for a year, but I failed miserably. I loved school, it was fun. My home away from home. Hey, come onto the chatroom sometime, Alli, if you're still awake this time of night.

I have one more exam tomorrow. This is supposed to be the hardest of the three finals I have taken this year. I could just fold my hands right now. I hope to shout I do well!

What did you attempt to study? I went to
Deanza College in 1986-89, and took
25 units overall and was always on
Academic Probation. Is this your case?
I took G.E formal courses!

I can do ok with exams assuming that they
are short and there's not to much distraction
going on around me. One thing I don't care
for too much in the college environment is
that on test day, it's do your test and leave.
When people start getting to turn in their tests
and leave, my anxiety level starts to go up
from people milling about in the class. I start
to loose the ability to stay focused on the test
and it becomes very hard for me to go on. I can
still finish the test, but I really need to put 110%
effort into it as things such as my thought process
and comprehension go out the window when the
anxiety begins to build.

I can see why you contacted the (forgot name...)
board at school and get help on you Aspergers.
Anxiety is normal for exams, but in the autism
perspective it is not always beneficial in doing well.

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

Hmmm, I was doing a double degree in Physics and Computer Science. I was passing the Computer Science without effort, but I was unable to concentrate on doing the Physics aspect. I'm guessing it was the upheaval from my former routines, having to move into the city to live with my dad, to attend University. I latched onto my only interest still remaining from down home, and it became my perseveration for the next 3 years, to the exclusion of everything else. I was powerless to remove myself from that rut until about September last year. These days, I just wait for things to happen else continue in whatever rut I'm in at the moment. I'm in a good rut atm, so its not a bad deal.

Ghosthunter:

I have taken an exam in parenting class, government class, and I just finished taking the state test for American history today. I know I passed government, and I think I passed parenting. About history, however, I am very unhappy to say these words, I cannot say. What I can say is that I gave it my best effort, and that is all a teacher can ask for.

I am a senior in high school, and I am going for my high school diploma. But, I take history with juniors and I am coming back next year to get all my requirements out of the way. Regardless, I am a smart person, and I will graduate no matter if I have a GPA that is passing by a slim margin.

I am glad your graduating. I didn't graduate
high school, but no regrets on that. I was getting
F's and D's in my junior year anyways!

What are these passable grades?

Sincerely,
ghosthunter

I thought it was a "D" that was below average
and not acceptable?

Hmmmmm?

A = Exceeds Expectations @4.0 points
B = Excellent @3.0 points
C = Passing @2.0 points
D = below average and discrecinary? @1.0 points
F = FAILURE, and retake course???????

Hmmmmm? Please correct me if I am
wrong!

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

You're not wrong, Ghosthunter.
A = +80%
B = +60%
C = +50%
D = Somewhere below 50%
F = Really really small.

I'm sorry. I meant to say anything above an F is passing. I must have been in a hurry when I typed that one reply to this thread.
