I describe myself as a Stoner Savant. I got the idea from a long time ago when i hear of idiot savants(older term) and was fascinated by the idea. I didn't know about autism or me having aspergers at the time, it is just a cute coincidence. I like the idea of the drunk who when someone disparages them, they whip around with something deep and meaningful.

I also describe myself as a Mature Pervert. My mind has set up permenant residence in the gutter. However, i am mature about it. I don't hoot and howl at women, i don't stare like a lion hunting a elk at the victorias secret shop, i don't talk about tits and boobs and sex constantly. I just enjoy being aware of the perversion aspect of virtually everything. If you get into a conversation with me about anything related to sex, then you've opened pandoras box and deserve being horrified by my calm and sincere declarations of perversion. But i won't stay on the topic too long if i percieve it is not well recieved.

The rest is just being a student and philosopher. I enjoy much visionary crap, but i try not to bore people, or try to appear smart. I just add a couple of bits occasionally when i can say something meaningful. And i'm constantly learning, and always keep a policy of "ignorence," that i'm still learning and i will never identify myself as a scholar or educated, always a student.

I'd have to get qualities of my general personality from someone else. I think i appear kind of childish and enthusiastic. Confused, bewildered, playful, friendly, cooperative, lonely, pragmatic, reasonable, reluctant, shy, outgoing(yeah, it is weird.)

Probably not very accurately. You tell me.

Man this is such a disappointment. I'm eating "Texas Barbeque Sauce" flavoured Pringles, but they taste like mustard! I swear barbeque sauce isn't usually made from mustard!

Describing my personality is difficult at the best of times. These times are only sort of good.

I am very shy; but, at the same time, I like to express my absurd sense of humor.

I am generally quite passive; but, when I am defending a principle or something else I know with certainty to be right, I do not back down for anything.

I'm smart, but sometimes I'm mistaken for an idiot.

I am skeptical of received wisdom and tradition for tradition's sake, but I am accepting and courteous to almost everyone I meet.

I am kind at heart and wish to make friends, but I can at times be perceived as cold simply from my facial expression and body language, which may not match my internal attitude and emotions.

Me:

Logical

Good memory for large amounts of useless facts

Cynical

Vicious temper but slow to build

Show very little emotion in public

An almost fanatical worrier

Have occasional attacks of anxiety and uncontrollable depression

A secret romantic (this is quite a contrast with the cynicism, varying with the depressive mood swings)

A fool who opens his big mouth at the wrong time

An obsessive about certain topics which my life revolves around

Casual yet distant, colder and colder as people get closer but the ladies find me very 'cute' for some reason, even though I never try to flirt at all (I wouldn't know where to begin, nor would I want to if I stopped to think about it).

I have been told I can be very:
obsessive yet offhand, kind, caring, moody yet calm, impatient yet patient, can't stop talking, interupting, intruding, hyperactive yet lazy, wonderful yet horrible, clingy yet standoffish, clear yet confusing, placid yet annoying, intelligent yet stupid.

I think I must be a living breathing contradiction in flesh.

I don't understand what you wrote in your last reply to this thread, Monastic.

I guess I was trying to convey that my personality is similar to most of what was written above but to be honest, many times I feel kind of devoid of personality. I am still working on this as most of my life was spent trying to mimic or be like something I had read, seen on TV or been exposed to. I used to say that I was a "mirror-person" always a mirror of someone else, but now I am trying to be just me.

My personality consists of the opposite of everything that it doesn't consist of. :: nods ::

I think my personality can be (maybe, possibly, unlikely) summed up by these anecdotes.

My nick GalileoAce:
In my early computing, and gaming years, I used the moniker "Ace". I wasn't too pleased with it, being so unoriginal (I thought). When I got my first email address, I wanted a new nick, something different, unique. Being a Trekkie, and then writing a Star Trek story about a ship called the USS Galileo, I decided I'd go with the nick "Galileo".
Unfortunatley, much to my annoyance, Galileo was taken... I racked my brain, now what would I do for a nick... I then thought why not combine the two?
That's how GalileoAce was born. I've been GalileoAce for over 10yrs (I think).

Remember the PC game, "Worms"?
With teams of four earthworms trying to annihilate each other.
I created my own team, simply called "Noogles"
The worms' names were as thus:
Noogle 1
Noogle 2
Noogle 3
Noogle 4
The Noogles shall one day rule the Universe!!

Hm... me...

Quiet, unsure, easily confused, insightful, practical, often lost or wandering, artistic, and out-of-it.

Non-existent (allegedly).

Still looking for one. Thought I would try Google.

I'll keep you posted.
