Yes, I really think so.

Erm... it's not anything to do with words or writing, but I'd like to know what's your favourite piece of music at the moment . (if you can tell, because I don't know if I would be able to answer myself! :D) I love music too. I play the violin, and I still praise the day I was given a violin...I'll be grateful for that till I die.

No problem, words and music are linked so intricatly, the links are astounding. My favourite piece of music isn't classical, the song's called Joga, by Bjork. The second verse is my signature, they cut it out of the video. I really like it, it's a very raw piece of music, and it's anything but mainstream. I play the flute, and I sing. I love music, purely for the expression of emotion, I am a very emotional person myself, that's where AS hits me hardest, and I believe that through music we can change the world.

I noticed. I hope that this doesn't jinx it though. Well, this teacher.
Her name is Mrs. Tap. Yep, I know the last name's a little ridiculous,
but she's the Co-ordinator of Teaching and Learning.

friends, and there were emotional difficulties bubbling beneath
the surface.

I can relate to this, I was language delayed thus
learning delayed combined with bullying, then the
worst of all things! Being ingnored! I can see to
one extent or another why you would bubble over!

Hmmmm? What kind of taunting?

she said "So you're the famous Sarah! Come in beautiful,
I haven't the pleasure! Tell me about yourself! I've been
waiting all day to meet you."

Sincerity and heart in one! God-Bless!

We began working together, one on one, she really

troubles came to the surface. She helped me with an assignment,
and, because I was stressed, she was really kind, I almost
broke down, at one point, she saw me falter, hesitate,
she ran back and gave me a hug, letting me know how special
I was, that I would always be her little petal.

Sincerity and heart! cool! and god-bless her!

She shut herself off, and I was hurt at this reaction. I wrote
her another letter, saying how I was a little hurt, but maybe
I'm in the wrong, etc, and I put it on her desk. I couldn't
concentrate, I was so guilty, stirring myself up, etc, and I
decided to confront her at lunchtime. Well, it ended up in
her interview room, I broke down, my world collapsed,
her hands on my shoulders, suppoting me, tears in her
eyes, her saying some deeply profound stuff, words that
are so true, so beautiful, so powerful, they haunt me still,
and the emotion I saw in her eyes, I have never seen so
much. She was astounded, and it hit her hard, and we both
were shocked, both bruised, and both changed. It's changed
us both. We're really awkward around each other now, and I
can't take it back, which hurts.

Hmmmmmm? What EXACTLY was said here? This is something
you don't have to answer! but your painting of her and later
how you are is ????????????????

And sorry about the misguided and misunderstood humor
I did earlier. I am sorry that I was mistranslated!

I hope it doesn't stay awkward for long. She knows you, for real now. Why does it hurt that you can't take it back? Do you really want to?
Even if it turns out badly, and it doesn't seem like this would, it seems to me it's worth it just to have had the experience.

To Everyone. I will try to answer as many questions as possible.

Regarding the thankyou note, She, (Mr. Tap) was shocked, and incredibly touched, she had never recieved a letter like mine, I personally put a lot of thought into it, and I said that she was a big influence in my school life, (true) that the session we had really helped me, (true) and that she really made me feel like a somebody again, (true) and without her, I don't know where I'd be. (true)
She has incredible inner sensitivity, (God bless her, she deserves the world...) and I believe she closed up, trying to figure out where the hell this huge suprise came from, for her, the little session with me was part of a normal days work for her. She expected no thankyou gesture, and she tried to work out why the session had affected me so, and how this sincere little 'bugger' ended up on her desk, making her feel all warm and fuzzy for what she believed was no reason, and I got the wrong end of the stick, saw her close up, and judged it on that.

What I was trying to say there was that I had a full on emotional breakdown in front of her, because I feared I had hurt her through my 2nd letter. She was there, councelling me, letting me know that she still, and always will care about me, and that she was really, really touched by my note and she was touched by me. She said some beautiful, powerful and profound things to me that day, eg "...I've watched you grow and blossom, Sarah, I remember and I absolutely treasure every moment we've had, um, together, and, um, I'm lost for words! and I will always care, Sarah, please Sarah, never doubt me that! Never! I care so much!..." Ever since that day, that 90 min, we shared so much, and we've both had to face the consequences of our little dance, that was WAY outside the lines of the Teacher Student Relationship, she broke the rules 5 times each for me, and I broke all my rules for her, eg, I rarely let people outside my family and friends touch me physically, I let her put her hand on my shoulder, and to touch my tear-stained cheek and I kept eye-contact with her, trying to comunicate non-verbally, and she understood. In australia, it is illegal to physically touch a student, and touching a students face is classified as sexual assault, and she's a stickler for rules. But, would I report her for being so terribly sincere?

What I'm trying to paint here is that we have a very close relationship, a relationship that has been both (excuse the cliche) beautiful and terrible, it has caused me a lot of pain, trying to sort it all out, and we are both trying to stand back from each other, and sort out all the emotion that was flying around that room that day, and it's taken awhile. As for the third person, there's Mrs Delprado, the school councellor, who knows the whole story from both angles, and has been (and still is,) the middle person, in this whirlwind, but I'm on school holidays, and I really hope that this time apart, where we don't bang into each other in the corridors will be good, so that we can start off the new semester afresh.

My name means Body. You know how Hydro means water, pyro=fire, psy=the mind, etc? Soma= Body. I express emotion through my words, and through my body. AS hits me hard in the Emotion dept. and I'm probably one of the most sensitive people to stalk this back-water planet.

When I'm upset, for example, really upset, my eyes change from dark blue-green to hazel, my face and all the way down my arms goes really blotchy, and my voice goes. Stuff like that. A pyschologist mentioned it under his breath when I explained all that. I thought it seemed appropriate, and because my real name's Sarah, I thought the names were kinda similar, Soma vs Sarah, and so, tadaa! C'est moi!

When I'm angry, upset, et al, my eyes turn black, or close to black. During my school years my eyes were black alot, which is odd, I don't consider my school years all that bad, I wasn't bullied or anything that much... :: shrugs ::

When I'm happy, enjoying myself etc, my eyes are a light brown, my pupils are clearly defined.

Given this, the fact I tend to stare at people, and that emotions are too easily conveyed through the eyes, I've taken to wearing reflective sunglasses in public.

So I take it that black's a common colour. My 'spectrum': (sorry about the bad pun)
Dark Blue= Exhausted, estatic, over the moon, or on the bad side, breakdown/ touch-me-and-die, very, very upset, beyond human consolation, if flecked with hazel, only 3 people have ever seen this colour, Mum, Dad and Mrs T.
Light Blue = Happy, on a huge high.
Grey = Normal, my eyes are usually grey at school, sorta sad,
Green = My warning, I'm feeling sensitive, be wary, feeling strongly towards some/thing/one
Hazel= I rarely go beyond hazel, but that's when it gets nasty. I'm very vulnerable, and you will probably see tears welling if you manage to keep eye contact, and getting that off me will be incredibly difficult, almost impossible.
Dark blue/Hazel, see above.

Well, that's really cool how others have it too, but I wonder, is it found in NT's too? Or is it only in us?
