Griping about the moderators seems to be a common thing on sites with active moderators. No matter how hard they try, they can never keep everyone happy.

I know some places don't allow members to openly disagree or complain about a moderator's actions. Instead they expect you to take it to PM with the staff team if you disagree or feel a moderator was wrong with their decision. I think it's because when members openly complain about it, it creates conflicts and drama.

This thread was resolved months ago. Can we let it go back to collecting dust?

We have pretty darn good moderators. More “transparent” than most moderators on other sites.

They should give the “whys” of any action they take.

The runner wanted to light the Olympic flame. Why did Superman not want the Olympics to start?

Dude! How have you never watched Superman III ?

He got exposed to some Synthetic Kryptonite which turned him into evil Superman.

Transparent? I don't get it.
If the moderators were transparent when enforcing the rules, how would one know they were being enforced because if they were transparent, we would not see them? So how can rules be enforced by people we can't see?
So it is better to see moderators then not see them.

I think the meaning here of "transparency" is being open and explicit when banning someone or removing a thread, rather than just taking action and offering no explanation MG.

I am embarissed. I had to ask what explicit actually means.

No one would think I speak just English (In human languages) and I am fairly intelligent would you. But languages are not my strong point.

No worries MG, you build your awesome trains.
I have been known to be surprised why my tv remote won't turn on my air conditioner, we all have our "Achilles heel".
Besides, there is no limit to your loveableness MG, that's the truth, you are, in my opinion, perfect.
