How crap is your life?
I'd like to add, you're a good writer
Thank you. I know my grammar and vocabulary are better than average, but since I usually just write-out streams-of-consciousness I worry that they're often too prosodic and rambly to be an effective writer.
On the other hand, if I put on an instrumental and start writing to it, I can basically type fast enough my written words amount to a freestyle. (I can't freestyle verbally, although slowly I'm starting to be able to.) If you've ever read through my 'Rate My Bars' thread, or otherwise been harassed by me posting rhymes, that's generally how I write them.
oh my bad, I meant the way you write is engaging... I haven't been harassed by your rhymes yet but feel free

I'm not good at taking compliments, but I sincerely appreciate it.

That's where I keep most of them, or at least most of the ones I post.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

Indeed. There's another guy at work with ASD who raps as well.

I would say my life is quite good now.
The only big headache (literal and emotional) is the political intrigue affecting one of my Toastmasters clubs. A friend of mine and I are working hard to see that the club survives and improves. It's a sticky situation, but we're working on it.
I have work to do before I achieve complete independence, but I'm working on that, too.
I see some dire situations people on WP face and am grateful that things are going well for me. I still have a lot of check marks in the "Needs to Improve" column, but I'm committed to making those improvements.
I will continue to never learn my lesson about going out with the normals and I will continue to fall flat on my face taking the advice of NTs on how to make friends or date, with them thinking it'll help me because I'm not fully "aspie-like". And all the confidence in the world cannot help me because I have too many things going against me, not just being aspie, but a male, Asian, can't drink because of my Crohn's and pretty ugly-looking. And it was only in the last 3-5 years or so did I finally "get it" and know my place. The rules would be different for me and might work if I just had 3 of those 5 things instead of all 5, but alas...
I will continue to struggle to find a job.
I will continue to have no family. The one I was born into abandoned me because of my aspie and Crohn's diagnoses.
As a result I grow to hate humanity because 99.9% of people are disgusting.
Even my therapist has figured it out, as I've been on 10 different meds for my depression and nothing has worked, because it isn't chemical. Sometimes, when your life is s**t, your life is s**t and sometimes there's little you can do to fix it because society just won't let you.

You are very likely an Aspie
to express how s**t your life is.
I will never have a family of my own. I will never get to be a parent. I am unlikely to ever be in a position that I
am allowed a pet. I will never be able to chose paint or wallpaper for my home or do what I want with the garden
or not have someone else coming around and inspecting my home and everything in it every six months. I will
always have to spend half my time working as a pretend (acceptable) person and the other half recovering. I will
never get any understanding or guidance with my autism because I look fine, so fine NO ONE has bothered to
read my assessment.
My situation is better than yours, but yours is a hell of a lot better than *most* people, speaking globally.
I suspect that isn't much comfort, but it is factual.
While it isn't really a choice whether or not I have children these days, I have never had an interest in procreation.
I enjoy my pets and that pretty much does it for me.
Not being able to have one is a biatch, though.
Some landlords do accept animals if a bond for possible damage is given, over here in any case.
Laws here in Australia are planned to mandate that tenants are entitled to pets, btw.

That would defeat the point of exhibitionism.

My mom is an emotionally abusive control freak.
The rest of my family does not really care about me.
I'm stuck in another state bored and lonely without the means to buy my own groceries or go places I want to visit.
I'm stuck with a boring tasteless diet eating the same bland s**t every day.
I have bipolar disorder and I'm afraid of snapping one day and ending up in prison or homeless.
I live in a sham of a country where greed, materialism, and narcissism reigns. A blindly patriotic country that waves its annoying little red white and blue flag in everyone's face. A country currently ruled by a fat ugly stupid dictator wannabe with a bad haircut who is f*****g everyone over and his psycho cult of supporters either love the fact that he's a bigot or they completely deny it.
I am unable to move away from this f*****g country even though I REALLY want to!
My doctors are all idiots and screw me up all the damn time.

I've never heard someone describe this so closely to my own wording.

But I'm also very private about my crap so you'll have to use your imagination.
I imagine you've been enslaved by goblins to mine radioactive material, surrounded by clique-y kobolds who have no respect for personal boundaries.
That's horrible to hear man. I hope your story is for kids and not being written by GRRM.

I've tried to articulate this to my mom before, about how depression isn't the worst part of BPD, it's mixed states and mania that are far more potentially harmful. Mania is like having someone randomly start feeding you methamphetamine for days on end in unlimited doses, it would be useful if it was mild and manageable (kinda like stimulants, actually) but because it's too much, too long and too disruptive it's really just dangerous to one's well-being. Combine the way BPD impacts judgment, ASD impacts judgment and the way BPD impacts one's ability to manage ASD symptoms (and vice-versa) and it's kind of like walking around with a large container of nitroglycerine inside of you.

It really does suck having it.

Well it's not the worst and its not the best. it's just life I guess. I mean me and my boyfriend, we have a place to live and we have each other...So I suppose that is something. But we're also victims of the whole millennial thing where we may be making more than our parents but we have much less access to the lifestyle they could afford because anymore you need more money for that. So I mean our lives aren't total crap, but it could be better.
