Well it finally got here, lol and it looked like they were thinking of escaping out of their tins. Had to pry one of them open because it managed to stick itself entirely to the tin walls as well as the lid.

Well I suspect maybe the moon rock one is thinking of the moon, but not sure about the other ones, guess I will find out when they get here.

Makes sense. I hesitate to try it for the same reason. I don't want to jeopardize my delicate Ortofon MC3 Turbo High Output Moving Coil cartridge I've had since the early 1990s!

your equipment sounds way more high end than mine. i have some 1980s AT line contact job on a denon servo tracer DD table of the same age. still works. the fix-it guy is a long drive away, however. hardly anybody works on home audio equipment in my part of the country. i like ortofons, they seem the most neutral-sounding of all the cartridges i've heard other than the shures.


Hopefully you see this, Blabs. It's been a few days. A friend and I owned a coffeehouse in the early 1990s. He had the enviable job of spending a healthy portion of our start-up money on sound equipment. He purchased the Ortofon cartridge and we used my Technics turntable. We also used my Denon 4 channel stereo/amp and Denon CD player. He bought 4 Klipsch speakers and a Miller & Kriesel self powered subwoofer to round out the music machine. When we sold the business we kept the sound equipment. He kept the subwoofer and I kept the Ortofon cartridge and the 4 Klipsch speakers. One of the speakers as ceased working for some reason.

Comes in array of funky colors. Sometimes holographic colors. And smells, and textures.


Yes psychedelic is a good adjective for it. Also not only that but some of them glow in the dark to.

did you check the crossover of the quiet speaker?
