I just sent a message to my doctors. The gastro doctor wanted to do more liver tests and autoimmune tests in November, but I'm wondering if they would do that testing now. I explained the situation. I hope it is considered a reasonable request.

Wonder why the delay. ?

I just had a liver enzymes test not long ago... Which was about twice as normal numbers. My general doctor however wanted to repeat my liver tests next week, I messaged both doctors. My liver enzymes have been climbing for a few months now.

Did your GI doctor finally give you anything for gastroparesis today?

She wanted me to have regulin, but sadly it doesn't play well with my psych meds...

Also my liver has been getting worse over the last few months, she thinks it's fatty liver...

Yeah that's the medication I take, 10mg 30 mins before dinner, my only solid food meal of the day along with 1650mg of Ginger right before my first bite of food. I have liquids like Ensures or Carnation breakfasts for the rest of my meals during the day. Most doctors prescribe 10mg three times a day for Reglan but if you only take it once a day you can really reduce the side effects/problems with other meds you are on and once a day is better than nothing.

Sorry to hear about your liver.

Milk thistle historically has been used to help clean the liver, the ginger is a smart idea. But I am no doctor .

I've been having issues lately with my right knee, in fact thinking about it it started about 20 years ago! When I was a teenager, that is when the knee pain and snap crackle poping started..
I went to the doctor back then for the knee and also for a rash on my face... Which led to Lupus testing and they did find an ANA titer then with further testing they came to the conclusion it wasn't serious! I also have severe muscle weakness, all my life... Also sometimes my back kills me and it is right now, grrrrr...

Years later, a doctor thought it was some sort of "connective tissue disease" but my insurance barred more testing. Later I developed thyroid disease, and the doctor found a very high amount of ANA and concluded it was autoimmune.

I see an Orthopedic doctor early next month for the knee, should I talk about this with them, or should I discuss with my general doctor about this and go to a different specialist... I know you guys can't help much but I'm not sure which direction to go... I'm just getting tired of all this medical stuff...

Tomorrow I see the gastroenterologist for gut stuff... I hope they finally help with the gastroparesis... I still can't eat normal amounts of food without feeling sick...

I'm also a suffer from chronic joint pain, which is sure to only get worse as i get older. my dad has had dozens of surgeries in the last 5 years. Mine is mainly in my arms tho. I have some right foot pain my sister says i have the same thing she has but i forgot the name. Honestly, I don't really help it sometimes i just hyperfocus and it's like the pain just sin't even there. and I'm just like oh s**t. 8O I've had tendonitis in my right arm in like every part of my arm 5+ times. absently listens to wrist popping My sister has similiar issues (she also has fibermylgia). My dad has EDS. Seems it's a bit genetic. It could definitely be a lot worse. I sympathize with you. Honestly I've only been to a doctor (besides my psychaitrist) like 3 times in the past 3 years. I can't imagine what my dad goes through. He had surgies on his elbows knees shoulders especially elbow knees and shoulders dozens of times. He got a shoulder replacement not to long ago.
