Worried about humans going extinct

It's probably better for other animals if humans go extinct, to be honest.

It's also not going to happen within the next century, even if things changed a lot and the population dwindled. We've been here this long and live in so many environments, it's going to be hard for mother nature to completely get rid of us that fast. lol

The worst self inflicted cataclysm on the human race might wipe out 90 percent of us. But that would still leave 6 or 7 hundred million of us around the globe. More humans than lived during any time during all of human history prior to the 19th Century. So we would hardly be literally extinct even if we caused the world as we know it to end (via global warming or nuclear war, or like that).

Another asteroid like the one that wiped out the dinosaurs might actually end our species though.

Even 10% of us being wiped out would hurt me inside. It bothers me to know of the people who have died from the pandemic caused by Trump and the Chinese government.

The crocodiles and sharks both survived that catastrophe so I'm really not sure that would do the trick. We'd be hunting anything that survived for food with high efficiency.

On the topic of rising seas. ,, anyone ever visit the. Netherlands. Or the newest Japanese airport created on reclaimed underwater ocean re estate . HumanS Might yet be considered an infestation and COVID may in theory
