I left out that the patient had been to a bachelor party and tested positive after my son saw him.

The result came back negative....PHEW!

She probably got it through work as a PHD student. Really doubt from a party. Probably sourced back to the move in parties that happened though.

I wonder what sort of PHD work would have exposed her. I am guessing something like Social Work?

I just think a lot of people really want to know how the disease actually spreads. Like can you really get it by using the touch screen on a Redbox and then touching your face? I don't recall when I've ever seen confirmation of this mode of transmission, whereas it's become clear to me that by attending a house party you're basically asking for it.
