I am pleased everyone in good spirits.
I know though Christmas can be a lonely and desperate time, especially if you feel left out,
if everyone is out celebrating and having big parties and you feel like the only one who isn't.
Can get to you if your alone, especially if drinking. Unfortunately the excessive drinking can
disturb some people's mental health.
A good friend of mine died last year, after taking his own life. Very upsetting, especially as he
was a really nice, good looking, employed and talented guy with a long term girlfriend he loved.
He didn't have ASD, but was dependent on alcohol, although generally thought to be a functioning
alcoholic than someone who really had lost the plot. He also had loads of people who loved him.
Was in some ways the opposite to someone with ASD, as he was super social, used to go to the pub
every day after work and generally got on well with people.
Sadly, he must have had a bad turn and unfortunately died.
So, i beg anyone who feels the same, to try and talk to someone before doing anything terrible,
as talking to someone can often straighten up things in a persons head when they have a bad turn.
I know, as i have been there and people have talked me around, and i have done the same favour for anyone
who is having a bad turn. Kind of the least any human can do.
Nonetheless, i wish everyone well. And am pleased they are having a good Christmas day.
i have had a fairly quiet day with my two parents and my 17 year old niece.
Had a nice meal, a few alcoholic beverages (although due to eating well, the normal amount of alcohol i drink hasn't had the same intoxicating effect... but nevermind, at least i didn't do something that i regretted)/ always a silver lining to every cloud.
So don't be lonely this Christmas..... all the best!...
