Thirteen being unlucky long predates Christianity, and was probably inherited by Judaism and Christianity from Mesopotamian culture. If you read about Nazi history, they used the occult excessively to influence outcomes during world war 2. Occultism was hugely influential for Hitler, particularly from 1939 to 1942. For most people the occult isn't 'real' in any tangible sense. Unless you tap into a certain esoteric, spiritual world, then it doesn't exist basically, and most folk don't have the ability.

That wasn't a typo. The sun, God's sun, travels through the heavens, the 12 signs of the zodiac. The sun is the light that makes everything live. It's probably the most universal symbol in human history. IT'S in EVERYTHING. Every system ever devised.

Those ancient people sure were obsessed with numbers. Leviticus 20:6. Deuteronomy 18:9-14 . what's wrong with just having chapters? I guess the people who assembled it , all those years ago, had good reason for choosing that format. I was born in the year of double infinity. I wonder what it means? The chapter and verse numbers were added to the text long after the original writers had died.

The practice of Kabbala (a form of bibliomancy) relies on numerology, but is not elaborated on in the Bible.

Except for the Book of the Revelation (and all the confusion about 663/666/whatever), where in the Bible is numerology an acceptable practice?

I never said anything about it being condoned. Im saying it lends it self open to numerical interpretations. Wether that was the original intent , or not. Depends on if you look at it on esoteric or exoteric level. The origins are murky. Manuscripts are lost, There's are some surviving 'non-canonical' manuscripts that were purposely excluded, when they were compiling the bible, into it's final form, in the 3rd century, in Latin, using greek texts, and i suppose 'amaraic(?)texts. They might shed light on things. Bottom line, the bible has a long and storied past. You could spend a lifetime looking into it. Nobody here is a scholar or expert. But symbology is encoded in there. Numbers were chosen for very specific reasons in many instances.

I would say nearly every page. Fnord do you know what pedantic means?

"Nature of God" mhhh. Yes alot of the original meaning are lost in translation. Lost in the sands of time. Yeshua becomes Jesus. 'The son of man' i always though was a strange title. The son of man, the son of god, it all gets so convoluted at times. I'll leave it to the scholars to pick apart.
