the past two days, before work, had to purposely jaywalk across the street, b/c there was a large, deep puddle on the way from the train station to work.
not enough crosswalks in front of work. constantly afraid of getting hit by a car. especially given the way Home Depot customers and servants drive. on the way home from work, to cross the street, there is no crosswalk. i have to cross the street, while cars coming from my direction either make a left or right turn at the "t" intersection. those cars have a green, yellow, or red light. i have to cross the street in front of cars that are trying to turn right. they do not legally have to yield to me.
yesterday, it rained after my second break, lightly and briefly. but shoes drenched, and that's pretty much the only thing that matters. even though shoes didn't get wet until 4:20pm. left work, as scheduled @ 5pm. took the bus, grocery shopping. got home just before 8pm. dinner. feet felt frozen when i went to bed @ 9. later @ 12:30, upon waking up, feet did not feel frozen.
today, according to the news, it was only 5 degrees colder than yesterday. yesterday 60F, which is not the slightest bit cold (same as in the summer). no work today. sunny all day long. but around 2pm, in my Pigpen, feet felt frozen.
