I don't care. I was complimenting Fnord. I don't care if it's a response to the original post, I've said what I wanted to say on a public forum where free speech is allowed, and that's that.

I completely agree that black people or anti racism messaging put in movies or TV for virtue signaling is bad.

But I have seen even here people complaining just because a black character being added as meaning the show has gone woke. I think often the issue is people assuming the addition of a non white, non cis, non straight character means the show has gone woke.

This scene if somehow released today would make certain people go bananas.

Double standard she used a racial slur against white people, and the scene was open misandry. Oh no.

It was marketed to black people but plenty of white people enjoyed them because they were fun low brow entertainment.

The point I am trying to make with with this thread is that we opponents of wokeness complain as we rightfully do that wokes see racism everywhere it behoves us not to see woke everywhere. When we rightfully complain that wokes make one racist scene or statement by a person define that movie or person, don’t define a movie by one woke scene. When we do we are both doing what they want and going down to their level.

Dude, what is your problem (aside from being a conservative white male, that is)?  Attacking the messenger for delivering a reasoned and truthful message is VERY much off-topic.
