There has always been plenty of room on WP for people to talk about their issues with finding someone. It’s not typically a topic that’s conducive to PPR, though.

But it still doesn't change the fact that autistic males are perhaps the most likely to be virgins in the general public.

People can vent all they like, but what a poor choice olf target assuming it was directed at WP in general.

If it was a vent then fair enough, but it needs to be taken into account that many males here will be scratching their head with good reason.

This thread isn’t targeting autistic males solely. Not everything is about them on WP or in society in general.

There are websites certain individuals could turn to if they’re looking for something that only addresses a specific point of view.

The tape worm is sentient.The men will have to raise their worm to maturity and wait to pass it.

Threads in PPR tend to be about universal topics, not just the autistic community.

I know exactly what the purpose of this thread is given the recent hostilities against abortion in the US....but it does half strike me as misandrist while also being posted to the least appropriate audience.

It needs to be taken into account that a lot of male members here, and autistics in general haven't even had sex.

That might be questionable with a thread like this.

The thread is an analogy but certainly pushing the boundaries. I can't imagine a similar thread of parasitic infections of females lasting very long here that's for sure.

A fetus is not a parasite, as I mentioned in my first post but also not a birthed baby. The analogy is tenuous at best and a bit obnoxious.

^ You were obviously never pregnant. It certainly felt a bit like having a parasite to be honest. I was sick and miserable my entire pregnancy.

The reality is that a lot of men don’t understand it because it’s not something they’ve experienced as can be seen by some of the comments you made in this thread.

It would be nice if there was a way to promote compassion and understanding despite our biological differences.

Not everything is going to be relevant to every poster on WP. I will say that learning about abortion from a female perspective could help male members develop compassion and understanding which could help with friendships and relationships.

If it wasn’t for my son, I’d still want to be a virgin. I’ve only had bad sex. No sex is better than bad sex. I’ve had none at all for about 7 years. I can relate in a way to lonely virgins, but there are worse things than being alone.
