They're just messin with you. you're so emotionally invested in Elmer Fudd that it makes you an easy target.

Its got nothin to do with the intrinsic value of Elmer Fudd vis a vis other cartoon characters.

I dislike fudds like Elmer Fudd.I dislike Elmer because he is a fudd who only thinks the 2A is for hunting deer and other animals like Buggs Bunny.

I am not really for sure but I always thought the insult came from the name Elmer Fudd.Elmer Fudd is always in Fudd and fuddlore videos in the gun world.

I think you're projecting the insult fudd on to a cartoon character that's never expressed any opinions on legal matters.
