I had to sit with this for over a week, it was so good. Thank you for writing this. I'm holding onto this! I definitely will move forward acknowledging that a lot of her capacity is used to manage her loads and burdens. I'm starting to think this forum was more for me than it was for her because I feel seen. I felt invisible for awhile. I've talked to her sister (my wife) about it too, and even she has felt it. For context, I've thanks her before on behalf of ND sister-in law for being a good sister. She said that she had never heard that from her before... and neither have I for myself as a brother in-law.

Ok, phew! I was worried, but now I'm not. You're welcome :D

It sucks to not feel appreciated/seen, especially after putting forth so much effort without any reason other than to be helpful or demonstrate love. If it's any help, I imagine that based on her history, she may not even know to say thank you. It would have to happen spontaneously (very unlikely) if it wasn't modeled for her. Or she might have to understand the entire thing to thank you for it with meaning. However, if she was naturally appreciative along the way, then you might have received thank yous in her built-in language: https://stimpunks.org/2022/01/22/the-fi ... nguages-2/

Either way, thank you both on her behalf until she can say it directly.

Also, if you think about system levels, it could be for the emergence of you all together. Kind of like how each of your cells are individual lives but together they make you. You're not one of those cells and one of those cells isn't you. I like to apply that concept to other things such as neighbors becoming neighborhood becoming cities becoming counties...You can think of you 3 having an emergence. The site could have been for that too. :shrugs:
