I agree, but too many employers are inflexible when it comes to accommodations. "I shouldn't have to write this down for you, it's simple"

I remember watching this TV movie one time, about a teen girl on the spectrum - she must've been a senior in high school - her special interest was in art and painting, and she got a job in this art gallery and shop as a cashier (till worker) , and while tending to a customer she forgets what key sequence to punch in so she has to be shown for like the fourth time, she gets visibly flustered, and the customer says "You know, people like you shouldn't be allowed to work." 8O :( I imagine she felt totally crushed and demoralized after that, but...the story has a happy ending, and it has something to do with her special interest ;-)
