What's your purpose in asking this question? You know that nobody is going to say eisegesis. So where's this train headed?

Normally I make a point of not hopping on trains without knowing where we're going, but if you fine fellows are on board I will make an exception.

The other day I actually saw a train chugging along with dozens and dozens of boxcars with the doors all open. Whenever I see open doors to forbidden places, I can almost taste adventure.

Anyhow. Exegesis. :)

Eisegesis

Exegesis is an illusion, at best. Anything one reads is always interpreted according to - and influenced by - their own ideas and concepts.

My guess is that you believe your way is the "right" way, and this thread is just meant to bait people into telling you their way so you can tell them they are "wrong." I'm not convinced you are really interested in knowing how other people absorb what they read.

Depends on the language.
In english, I'd suggest left
to right.

I always read a text or book lying in bed, don't know if that's the right way or not.

Reclining on one's side, on a couch,
whilst being fed figs by one's loveliest
concubines.

Why would you even include the word "right" in your poll question if you didn't think you knew the "right way to read a text?"

Mhh, yes, even with those. Their meaning does depend on the conventions that attach meaning to these symbols and the concepts that reader has of whatever it is that is supposed to be associated with those symbols.
