Sod you. I was born and raised Anglican, and I am technically agnostic, bordering on atheist. That gives me a somewhat objective view on all religion. Not completely objective, but I can still despise all organised religion equally. Did it ever occur to you, for example, that if the Crusades never happened, we may not be in this mess?

Yeah, those Anglicans are pretty rambunctious, I hear. Keeping to themselves, preaching. Just as bad as bombing people and castrating women.

I don't agree with much of the Church, but judged from a truly objective perspective, not all organized religions are equal. Christianity at its core does not advocate violence. The Koran is filled with references commanding people to kill Infidels. In my opinion, they are dangerous and we need to open up a nice can of whooparse.

Did it ever occur to you that if the Muslims didn't kill and torture Christian pilgrims, the Crusades might not have happened?

And yet once the Fatimid Egyptian Muslims captured Jerusalem, they offered the return of the sacred sites to the Crusaders. And guess what? The Crusaders kept going. When Saladin captured Jerusalem, he did so with virtually no massacre, comapred to what the Christians did earlier.

This thread should've been sunk long ago. I'm giving you an hour to finish any reasonable arguments (if any) that you want posited. Then, I will sink this thread. Savvy? And in future, consider the WP Rules, particularly on racist remarks. 'Wearing diapers' indeed. Did it ever occur to you that Sikhs and Hindus also wear turbans? And that they are relatively inoffensive?

My point is that Muslims differ from Christians on an essential point. Muslims do not have any real standards on how they convert followers--i.e., threatening with death is acceptable to modern Muslims. Modern Christians, on the other hand, mostly believe that threatening with death is unacceptable and the choice must be made from the heart.

I also believe that America is more European than Europe. America is more Christian, more unified, and soon to be, more white. America, like the Crusaders, is still opposed to Islam and Islamic radicals, whereas Europe naively allows Arabs to overpopulate their countries.

And I'm not racist, I think that the Arab countries are hell-bent on conquering the West.

Tired of this thread. Sink 'er!

I hate this thread more than I hate (the majority of) Muslims.
