Hmm...seems Quatermass posted in it,
without doing anything. I always took
when another mod didn't see a problem
as a sign that there should be some
discussion, before dealing with it.

I merely pointed out that Ana54 was not posting in the thread, which was probably the right thing to do for her. It was a subtle hint: you ain't getting a rise, so push off. I then ignored the thread.

I still always would hesitate, IF I saw another
mod was aware, and ignoring the problem.
It didn't seem to get any worse, as time went
on, so there's no question that I would have
consulted, rather than take action. Then again,
my action would have been the more extreme,
of deleting the thread. I don't see what locking
personal attacks does, to tell the truth.

I didn't see Quatermass there, I have to say I like the way he does things a lot better, because he does WARNINGS, while MrMark just made his post and then locking it right away, without anyone being able to reply to his post, wether they agreed with him or not, this might seem a little like abuse of power to some. But the thread is locked now and is not that bad though, but I am wondering why and if it was really a justified action.

You know, I agree with this IN PRINCIPLE, but
Alex thinks that warnings are a bad idea, and
has more experience running this site than anyone,
so I tended to follow his directions, in the matter.

I would actually have posted in it, but I was so busy! I read it all though. :) I'm surprised I wasn't even warned by a mod yet, let alone banned. On the contrary, I made a lot of new friends out of that thread, lol. Now I have 3 more PM buddies. :D

I can't see why. I saw a habit of no more than
10 new threads a day. While this might seem excessive,
it wasn't even pushing the last day's posts off the page.

Yes Quatermass’ judgement is better than MrMark's IMO. He even puts up with me

Does anyone here have due cause to see 0_equals_true in pain?

No, FowlSpam is due cause to cause YOU pain. 0_equals_true hasn't done that ATM.

Wow, Cal's been defending me so much despite the fact that I blamed him for hacking my account once!

Now that I've read what is being talked about here, I can see that I've been gone for too long. Maybe Ana is just trying to get to know everyone and for everyone to understand her. If some of you remember, I tried to do that, but a lot of mine were unsuccessful.

Yes, pretty much that seems to be it, I don't think you were unsuccesful though, the thing is that most of the "success" has to do with how often you show here, it seems, the more you show yourself the more people notice you. Well, it seems to me like that.
