Honestly i don't believe in heaven or hell i think you die. Period.

Eh, I'm sorry man, I guess kinda started it, I just couldn't help but laugh at Chihuahua's overly literal take on the whole myth.

My apologies too egodeus59, I rected at the first thread with the little bigots name in it at the time and I do apologise.

As to your questions regarding 'revelations' there are many newer interpretations of that book to be found that look beyond any literal
interpretation.
The Dread thinkers of Jamaica including the 'times of tribulation' and the 'revelations of Jah' [Jahoviah] even the twelve tribes [a very orthodox Judeo-Christian Rastafarian group] see them differently.
I know the Bahai have newer thoughts in this area and Islam definitely sees things in a new light, really it depends on what attitude you have to historical[context only] texts, how much is it possible to understand the mind of the writer with only a modern mind to work with?

Again my apologies, peace j

You don't have to say sorry, I've been running a temperature the last few days, sore throat and crap, so I'm not too cognitive. Either way I haven't really paid attention to any religion since about age 10 but I saw something on TV about Christ ruling the world for 1000 years in revelations and I just wondered what they think happens after that, like knowing the final chapter of a book, and I mean no disrespect by saying that.

Have a good one everyone and thanks.
