Besides, your vote was a waste because you chucked it in the bin. It shows contempt or apathy. I'm now assuming the former. It is probably none of my business, but I have every right to express my opinion just as it seems you had a right to chuck your vote into the bin. Quite frankly, I am above hating political parties (except where One Nation and Family First is involved).

Simple. Reverse your entire digestive system, change the specs of your mouth to be a combination of sphincter and air freshener, and they'll applaud everytime. Of course, that isn't something sane people would do to themselves. Normally, you have to be born with certain genetic defects to be a polly.

It's quite simple (I'll let the reason known to break the presumption), I don't vote as I refuse to be forced to do anything; voting for my friend, the bin, circumvents the fine. Now, if there was a choice involved, one where I wasn't forced to do such without a penalty, I, of course would vote for the party that has ideals that are similar to mine (which is none of them, but that's besides the point).

Your vote is your vote, I don't dare presume why you voted as you did, it's cool; I'm just confused that why one vote is more wasteful than another, to each their own however.

I have a thing with being forced to do things.

Here's an idea: go to the voting area with a roll of toilet paper, show the people at the desk what name you have written on it, and say "BTW, I'm really meaning to take this back home with me since I've got some good magazines I've been meaning to read - could you just write it down for me and be done with it?"
