Although there are different ways of implementing the tecnologies within bith cable and DSL they are different. With cable you find you are sharing bandwidth on a loop, the more people subscribe, the slower your connection. There are bottlenecks in DSL too, but it varies from provider to provider where they are.

Oh, I didn't know that. However, you do have the same experience with DSL as you do with a cable connection.
