Do you feel like Jesus loves you?
In any case, I do not share the poet's sense of humour. Nor will I defend it. I find it rather offensive.
All human judgements will be judged when the time comes, including mine. I expect as much, to be judged alongside my fellow human beings with no preference shown. I expect to held accountable for my sins and my virtues.
Well he wasn't insulting you, he was insulting god
I am not Christian but I have come to realization that Jesus is truly a beautiful man. His words ring very true, and if you understood them, you would realize this.
I find it ironic that people prefer to put worthless people above him. I have no respect for anyone that insults Jesus.
Some people are ignorant to what it means to judge. I would rather be judged by a holy man than praised by the world.
Now to clarify, religious men do not criticize, they show you the way. You, and others, view it as judging because it runs contrary to what you believe. You cannot accept it, so you cry back "Do not judge!"
I'm having a hard time understanding this. It is the Word that awaken the spirituality inside a person. If the man and the Word are not one, then how can a person truly be religious? He is a shadow.
That in itself is an insult.
That in itself is an insult.
When someone interprets as derogatory almost anything that is said about him (or about groups with whom he identifies) we conclude that he has inferiority feelings or low self-esteem.
- On the Industrial Society and Its Future
You must identify with a group because by yourself you are nothing . I don't need a group, I am by myself.
Jesus is an idea, and as such gives himself to criticism . He isn't you, stop identifying him with yourself. Are you not a man?

Now that is pretty stupid. I'm not telling you how to live your life, but the views on this board are very insulting to people of faith. Whenever someone talks about a religion or a religious figure it is wholly in an insulting manner or tongue-in-cheek. It is stupid. It runs contrary to the whole "We are accepting people" belief. They should just say "We accept everyone, except religion and its followers" because that appears to be the view shared by many members.
So if I'm inferior because I am insulted when the very thing I hold above all else is ridiculed, then I am inferior. I have no problem with being inferior as long as I am aware of why I am here. I'd rather be inferior with truth and humility, than superior with falsities and arrogance.
Who gets to decide who is worthless? Is that your god-given job?
Hope it pays well!
I'm sure this was a joke. Why was it that I couldn't laugh?
If it was a serious question, you should know the answer.

Oh, the smiley face was there to explain the jokey part to the humor-impaired. Here's another.
The serious part is this question:
What exactly are your qualifications for determining the worthlessness of another human being? (I'm sorry, I do not have an emoticon for that question.)

Superior with falsities and arrogance is the definition of religious piety.
QFT (and I fix't it for you
The man named Jesus taught many wonderful things, but over time his teachings were corrupted and slapped into canon and imperialized and sodomized(see the Romans and the Dark Ages). In effect, the man named Jesus died and left behind virgin teachings for only a short time before they were corrupted, which really means that almost any reference to him in the scope of Christianity 2000 years after is quite "worthless", and brands the Jesus of our memory as a worthless idea. Only with a bit of digging and sifting can you find what he really meant anymore.

if your talking about me the paper on my door was insulting people who try to "convert" you to their religon.

Do I feel like Jesus loves me?
How do I give this a neutral answer? What does or should a non-existent persons(Not here to interact with me in person) feelings about me make me feel? Words are empty without feeling and action. My dad or mom may say they love me, but if they never spend time with me or show me in any way that what they say has any weight it makes the words meaningless. Making promises without having been proven honest, makes those promises as valuable as the air they were expelled with or the paper and ink they were written on. It's cheap.
My dad believed in Jesus. He'd often say he felt like God hated him.
The feelings we have are caused by chemical reactions in our bodies, but that doesn't really explain why.
There are three mystic answers I could give:
1. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
Maybe the answer lies in the bible, before the corruption of Zoroastrianism into Judaism that attributed evil to an opposing force. Perhaps God is being a big meanie today, tomorrow He might be a big sweetie. You just never know.
2. Maybe God's testing you. By having the Devil implant bad thoughts into your head.
3. Or maybe it's all the Devil's fault
So take a wild guess.

I have a basic philosophy...
Whatever it takes to get you through your life, be it Jesus or a rubber ducky. As long as you don't push it on me, judge me by your religious standards, or talk to me about it when I neither asked nor care. Religion is about faith, not science, you can't prove it you have to accept it - that is why it is impossible to persuade someone of your views who does not want to be persuaded, unlike most other matters where you have tangible evidence or proof.
If only everyone could live by that the world would be a much better place ![]()
