Conspiracy to commit murder is a very serious offense, and I am shocked that you think this sentence is too severe. If anything, the sentence is too light, because they will be released after only a few years, and once released they may conspire or attempt to murder again. How will you feel if someone ends up dead at their hands 10 years from now when they are released? Will you still think the 10 year sentence was too severe?

I say it's not severe enough. Society must take a no tolerance stance against violence, and conspiring to murder a human being must not be tolerated.

sadly, I think you are correct.

lets just hope they serve their time and get out alive. Thats all we can hope for, we should hope for the best when it comes to our fellow human beings.


What about our fellow human beings who these men wanted to murder? Maybe keeping these dangerous criminals locked up indefinitely is what is needed to protect their intended victims.
