Ladies,

Something just occured to me that might make some sense to you...

When a guy falls for you - I mean, really falls for you - his previous concept of the perfect female body is replaced by whatever it is you look like at the time. Really.

While it is not an ironclad rule that "A man in love perceives the one he is in love with as perfect," it is the common-sense way of thinking.

It is also reasonable to assume that if a man declares that your body is perfect, it is a sure sign that he has fallen in love with you.

Really.

This makes sense, though it's not what I would think if I were on the receiving end unless I was already aware of the possibility and in the position where I was ready to trust a man.

Do not read beauty magazines. They will only make you feel ugly.

It depends on why you read them. I bought lots one year just to figure out what they were about, and I don't think they had a negative impact (but then I knew ahead of time you're not supposed to just copy the looks). Then recently I bought one for pictures of curly hair on women. I know I won't look that good without a stylist, but it was good to see how the hair was cut, and I can take the pictures out and remind myself every time I want to cut my hair that it would be good to let the front grow out some more.

Basically you should just read fashion magazines to watch for current themes, then only go with the themes that you know suit you (or try them out if you're not sure yet). It was nice to see bohemian and feminine come back in again. No doubt other women feel the same way when preppy or minimalist is "new" again. It means the stores are stocking your 'look' and it's time to stock up. 8)
