In the religion, I write, islamic martyrs, be damned...
Oh, it's taken me years, of constant training, not to let this, drive me mad, trust me.
You know, staying sane, at my level, that takes dedication... I wouldn't put, such an obligation, on my worst enemy. But I am me. It is my Life, and someone has to do it, and I trust me, to do it right. What more, could a living being ask for...
My mother, was just the other day, telling me I should expect to inherit around 10 to 18 million dollars.
At a personal estimate, with 5 million dollars alone, within a 10 year, period, I might be able to change the entire course of human history, with my abilities. Trust me, I have a couple of conceptual aces, up my sleeve, should the circumstances, arise...
There is hope, there maybe, the slightest, probability, that there is a point, at which, I might even be able to make something, of my most unusual of talents, and gifts.
In the mean time, I must suffer, my affliction, and do the best work I can.
Being me, is a love hate relationship. I wouldn't trade the way I see Existence, for all the money and power, in the Universe. Then again, I have the feeling, that I am going to pay, quite dearly, and without any real material recompense, for the way I see reality.
Such is Life...
God only knows, if there is, a point, to it.
God, people around me, think their might even be, a buck to be made out of it, eventually. Of course, I know that to be true...
Unfortunately, for me, I have this terrible feeling, that no one will truely appreciate, what I write, till after I die. But someone has to do it right? It might as well be me. Fun s**t, huh?
The unfortunate consequence of being human Claire, is that we know nothing, at all, about what happens, to us when we die.
I cannot take credit for the idea, that it is: Better to live a good Life, than live a bad Life, and find out the hard way, when one dies, that one has made a most dire of mistakes.
And yes, your right, we are all, myself included, only human, I cannot even begin, to calculate the number of self-perceived sins, I have made, in living my own Life. I may write religion, but I am no saint.
All, one can do, is live, the best Life, one can. And hope, that, that, is enough.
Living a moral Life, with morality itself, being such an perplexing gray area, to perfection, is almost, if not actually, impossible for the average, living being.
One should simply try to minimise the level of damage, against their fellow living beings, to the very extent they can. One should simply try to live the best Life, one can, by doing, as little harm, and damage, as possible, and by encouraging, and building up everyone aroudn them, to the very extent of their ability. In truth, if I am a true, and honest source, of religion, in Existence. All I can tell you, all I can truely say and write, as religion, is that, is all you can do.
For the time being, and for all the forseeable future, when one dies, one has no, information, nor idea, what to expect.
Live the best Life, you can, build everyone up around you, and try not to knock them down. Try and not be a douche, to the very extent, of one's ability. I cannot truely say, whether that will make a difference, when you die, but if the alternative, is to live a bad Life, and when one dies, to find out, that the consequences, are substantially worse, than one anticipated, then go, for living the most benevolent Life, one can live....
Yeh, Claire, it's no stress, I'm pokin fun, at me too.
Yeh it's really odd hey, I mean, one just doesn't wake up as a perfect writer, unless, one is some kinda genius.
My writing changes, every year.
The word benevolent, really resonates, with me. But there are a lot of funny, little idiosyncracies, like that in my writing, little words, or even whole, tiny phrases, that I have developed, or picked up, or started using, even since I started using this forum. You know, let alone, whole concepts, I have developed, or adopted, from other sources, to write the religion I write.
I mean the whole history of science, is one of my prime sources, for how I conduct my work...
Every year, one gains a little more skill, a new word, or a new phrase, that one has to go back over their work and change it to reflect.
What really resonates with me, as a concept, is this idea, that one can actually be "A True And Benevolent, Source, of Religion, Into Existence".
That's one of the dominant phrases, that I have learned to use, as rhetoric, but also comes from the heart, in writing the religion I write, when I am describing myself, or people like myself. You know because, while someone who actually truely wants to improve, the entire future of Existence, by their actions, without any true concern for themselves, might be rare. You know, people, like me exist, and I want my work, to resonate, with how they feel. So they don't feel alone.

Nah, I havn't been on for weeks Claire, I'v been to busy, editing the stuff we talked about.
Seriously I musta added at least 20 pages, of editing onto the discussions, we've had, over the last couple weeks.
I came on today, just to ave a bit of fun.
Hell, give me a couple hours Claire, and I'll take some of the jokin around, we've done in the last few posts and scuplt something beautiful and profound out of it, for a laugh.
I mean I can just take the concept of benevolent, and how I use it, and rip of some of the information from our posts, and make a passage of religion, that gives my reader, some "keepin it real", insight into what it's actually like to write religion.
I can take that last sentence, paste a couple of other sentences around it, edit it, and boom, beautiful new work.
I'll tell you what really blows me away.
I was talking to my doctor, about how I am cognitively impaired and autistically imparied, and that I am a writer.
And he's like what do you write about?
So I tell him, like fully straight, about how I'v worked out the true nature of religion, in Existence, and have transcended that, into actually writing the damned stuff.
You know, and he like picks up a book next to him, some peice of academic rubbish, and starts telling me about the king of saudi arabia, and how he is going to go work for him, as part of his personal team of diagnosticians.
And like looks at me dead serious, with pen in hand, asking me advice, about what to do, you know.
I just tell him, read the Koran man, read it a few times, forget the academic rubbish and go straight to the source, and tell the king what he wants to hear, and never deviate from it.
And you know, like keep a level head, on your shoulders, yah know, what, i'm sayin
huh, huh... Rum, a tum, tum, on a drum...
I wish every day was like that.
G'night Claire...
I should finish my wine, finish my editing, and go hit some Battleforge...

The Qur'an never specifically mentions terrorism, for at the time of its composition such a thing had not been invented. But there is ample evidence that terrorists are hated by Allah.
#Jihad is mostly internal, waged against the part of one that's sinful. External Jihad (which Muhammad called "minor jihad") can only be waged in defense, if the Muslim community is in immediate danger. Islam spread by the sword is illegitimate.
#Martyrdom in Islamic warfare is dying during a deed of great courage and/or sacrifice in the line of duty. Reckless suicide is a very cheap version of this. Allah despises cheap gifts.
#Reckless suicide bombers who leave families behind are not blessed. The bedrock of Islam is the family.
#Muslims are NEVER to kill or mistreat innocent "People of the Book" (Jewish and Christian civilians). To do so is a grave sin.
#Actually, Muslims aren't supposed to kill people at all---"If you save a life, you save all humanity; If you take a life, you kill all humanity."
#As in many other religions, wrath is considered deeply undesirable in Muslims. Anger poisons the soul and distracts one from one's service to God. What does Allah dislike more than Israel? People who waste their whole lives hating it.
Yeah, so f*** the Islamic "martyrs." Islam hasn't seen a genuine martyr in centuries.
PS I think your commas are cute.

That's bold, I appreciate it, very thought provoking.
I'v only made it through, half the koran.
I just couldn't get into it.
I tried, you know... I'm being honest here, but I'v actually at least read half the thing, and it was pretty descript about how, it explained, it's self as a religion.
Now, to really, quote back to you from the koran, the more offensive stuff, I read in the first half, I'd have to read it again.
The Koran, wasn't exactly a story; with actual relevant information, about how to attain enlightenment; or a story, about the necessary, and quite near absolute, fusion, that must exist, between science and religion; or about the sanctity, of individual choice, in relation, to allowing a living being, the right to choose, what they wish to believe, about the nature of Existence. I'm fairly certain the koran, was pretty much the exact opposite. But my memory is hazy. It has been, afterall, about five years, since I wiped my ass with pages of the koran.
Which I have no intention of doing in the near future, any more than I have intentions of reading dianetics, the unitarian, jewish, nor mormon bible. Seriously, I have far less intersting, and even more offensive, religious texts, from the 20th and 21st century, to wipe, my ass, with now. The koran, would be a step back.
But I remember, at least in the english translations, I read, that the koran, was pretty specific, in relation to violence, and making sure people, were forced to be islamic, at any cost. And the koran was pretty specific about women being completely less than second class citizens, to men.
From memory, it was pretty clear about that.
And it was a pretty violent, peice of literature, from memory. Which granted isn't saying much in my case, but I have an uncanny ability, to reject things, that arn't worth a 20th century, living beings, time...
I could be wrong though, it's been a while.
I must admit though the koran, isn't my speciality.
I read, far deeper, into buddhism, and scientology, as case studies, in relaton to religion.
But reading the koran, was a true offence, to my senses.
There was something terribly primitive, infantile and brutal about the koran. There was something deeply, manipulative, and painful to read about it.
buddhism, was just kinda stupid, in a lot of areas, but it just seemed more benevolent and generally readable, in nature.
I think it was the Theravada, side of buddhism, that struck a chord, with me most deeply.
I also joined the bahai's for awhile, but I wasn't impressed. They had nice god damned temples, don't get me wrong, but they were, as single minded, in general, especially the iranian bahai's, and were as insane, as your average, middle eastern christian, jew, or muslim...
MissPickwickian
In all due respect, you did make a very constructive post.
Consider me, thought provoked... I write religion, that's no small thing.
Geez, I almost absolutely have to read, the koran, to give you a serious reply.
God damn, I hate the koran. Give me one month, to at least read, the first half again...
I mean that in all seriousness, and sincerity, now, no more joking around...
I do actually have a couple of editions of the koran, laying around, but reading it, geez, do I really have to?
It better say something useful, compared, to the level of uselessness, it encompasses, within the first 50 pages, or I am going to come here and personally s**t on it.
The Koran.
Geez, your lucky....
Page 83 of the koran...
That was why we laid it down for the Israelites that whoever killed a human being, except as a punishment for murder or other villainy in the land, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind; and that whoever saved a human life shall be regarded as having saved all mankind...
Consider me how you will, be never consider me, unobjective, or unjust, I will research, study and observe something, if I am asked to.
Still, one, or even a dozon, half assed decent quotes, dost, not an entire decent religion make.
And I'm already seeing things, that are devistating, to causality as a whole, in the koran.
Seriously, that above quote, in relation to writing religion, that concept, is so obvious in relation to religion, that it's a complete joke.
"Be good, to your fellow human beings, to the best of your ability." I mean seriously, no s**t, that's a part of the philosophy of a benevolent religion? As an actual writer of benevolent religion, you know, I would never have guessed, that one.
I don't want to come across to sarcastic. Well, actually, I do. But I guessed that one, without, needing the koran. And this other bit of the koran I'm reading, it just doesn't have the pizazz, the panache, of that last, most insanely, and ridiculously obvioius of benevolent religious concepts, in relation to writing, you know, benevolent religion....

islam is no different than what mormonsim is to christianity. its a continuation of a former idea with goofy ideas. mormons believe the garden of eden was in missouri, and islam makes you pray 5 times a day pointing twords mecca ![]()

You'll have to excuse me, I have fallen ill, from anxiety, and so froth,
All the usual things I suffer.
I am going to read as much of the koran as I can over the next few weeks. And have a think about it.
MissPick, I have taken what you mentioned to heart. You have managed to strike an important chord, in my creativity.
I am going to rewrite this peice, obviously add paragraphs and so forth, that was a no brainer, like the next peice, I am giving you, the first peice, was a first draft. Off the top of my head sort of stuff.
I won't be able to read, anything anyone, has written in reply, right now, I just came on to post this. I'm to ill right now, to read what people, have said, in this thread. But I certainly hope that some of you, have written quite terribly thought provoking things.

One, does have to wonder though, whether these islamic martyers, the masterminds, who orchestrate their violence, and the people, whose lives are prematuraly brought to an end, are not all innocent victims, of something far more complex than the individual choices, made by these aforementioned orchestraters, and perpertrators, of this terrible violence, in the name of God, and religion. One has to wonder, if all these aforementioned people, are victims of a greater war, a holy war, not of any single religion, but a holy war, that ranges, throughout all of Existence for the hearts, minds and souls, of living beings. As corrupt and primitive, and just downright stupid religions clash, everyone, who suffers, is in a sense an innocent vicitm. Maybe these living beings are not the guilty party, in this symphony of pain and suffering. Maybe they do not even deserve to be punished, no matter how horrific, their crime was, in their lives. Maybe, that is the true point of Universalism, to point out that religion must be elevated, beyond anything humans have currently experienced, in relation to it, that shows, the true power, and the profound beauty, that a religion can be created to be. Maybe the point of Universalism, is my, personal war, that I am waging against the religions, that are destroying our lives. I know what the point of Universalism is. I write the religion of Universalism, in a way, that in it's entirety, that at least, as much of it as I can make it, helps to make up for all the destructive religion, that has been inflicted upon human beings.
Like everything I give you this is also a rough draft, it hasn't been spelling corrected, puncutated, paragraphed, or edited; that I will either incorporate, into passage 260, or I may rewrite 260, and change the semantics, based on Misspick's post.
I want to read some of the koran, that could well take me a couple of monthes, my brain is most uncooperative. Then I will come back with an improved draft.
I was thinking of altering the semantics of the martyer part. I need to do some dictionary, encyclopedia, and checks on the term martyr, from the koran, its self.
It will be at least a week before I can work again.
Peace,
Might I recommend this translation? http://free-minds.org/quran
It's one of the best I've come across, as well as Dr Rashad Khalifa's.
Peace.
