Yep. It wouldn't be Animal Crossing without Mr Resetti.

He's supposed to be annoying. Turning off the game without saving is cheating.

He has a positive use this time. He gives you a silver shovel. Reseting is not involved in aquiring the shovel.

Did they bring back real holidays for this one?

That was the thing that bugged me the most about the DS one...they made all new fake holidays, so you never knew what date they fell on or anything like that.

Ha ha, I just realized, of course I must like Animal Crossing, I have Mr. Slider as my av

Yeah they brought back the GC holidays... But the soundtrack of AC CF is the same as WW...

In short its not good... 8O

Ok, this is the first time I play Animal Crossing, and I have a question: How can I get more different fruits if all the trees have the same?

not sure if same applies to the Wii version but on DS one you could sometimes get lucky if one of the animals sent you one as a gift randomly - it might be you need to send them a fruit first - i forget tbh

also, i had a coconut wash up on the beach one day randomly

but the easiest way is to just visit someones town who has a different fruit to your towns native fruit - then just take one back to your town and plant it !

Also they are sent as letters from your mom, as well as baloons may contain them...

Doesn't seem much different to WW. That's what put me off... I don't need 2.

Yeah, same here. I played WW pretty regularly and then got CF for Christmas, popped it in and felt like I was just playing WW on a bigger screen. Pretty disappointing. :?

Oh and ToadOfSteel, I didn't see her as pedo in any way. Maybe it is just me but all of the Animal Crossing City Folk commercials have been done that way and I see them as fairly normal.

I'm not saying that she sounded like one, it's just that the tone of voice that the women in those commercials use creeps me out alot...

I guess I can see that but that tone is used for all of the Animal Crossing: City Folk commercials that I've seen.

I was referring to the tone in all the commercials... I only had the patience to find one on youtube and post it, though...

In turn, that's how I felt when WW came out...just felt like the GameCube version on a handheld (with a few changes here and there).

My brother sold the GC one though, so I was pretty happy about getting to play it again. I wouldn't mind playing the Wii one just because I got tired of my town layout sucking on the DS one (I had to go all the way around this long river to get to the post office), and after I started a new town, I kind of lost the motivation to keep playing =/

yeah, i have to agree. if you played either of the previous ones its a big disappointment

my kids love it though and watching them played i have observed some subtle differences but generally speaking its largely the same game

<sigh> why spoil a good thing eh Nintendo ?

^ Nice flag.

I think you change your hairstyle and face at the salon in the city.
