You do not compromise with corruption, with criminality, with incompetence, with liars, with brutality, with violators of basic constitutional rights, with insensitivity to the weak, the poor, the ill, the deprived. That worries me.
QFT. That's just why I was annoyed the presence of Rick Warren, someone who actively campaigns against basic civil liberties. Someone like that should not have been selected to bless (someone who I hope will be) the People's champion.
On that note, I thought we signed a treaty explicitly stating that we are not a Christian nation. The
two Christian ministers that led us in prayer during the Inauguration seems to bring the truth to a lie. (though I had no problem with the benediction - I liked that guy and his speech was universal)
