If you haven't noticed, the opening post is filled with contextless quotations from and abstracted references to threads locked by WP's moderators that were also unavailable to anyone on WP except for the moderators of WP at the time of this thread's creation.

All of that is irrelevant. We all know there are rules against talking about locked threads ...

... and "Let it begin even with just you and me", eh?!

it is an irony that "gay" people get mad so fast.

Truly mad, or merely a bit angry over continually being barraged by some Christians at least some of them (the gays) might actually care nothing at all about?

Crazy bad luck and happenstance?

In fear of this thread possibly being locked:
We all need to stop talking about past events here and look for ways to move forward.

Why don't you say this "Let it begin even with just you and me" to AlSwearegen and everybody from Intensity Squared?

Have you ever considered that in addition to the "endorsement" quote they have from Alex upon the home page of Intensity Squared that now, along with all the rest of the Intensity Squared group's achievements, they've managed to even have the rules of Wrong Planet modified due to their actions? Can you see that? In this game of theirs, most of the events are now past, due to the nature of time, however - and as long as the impostor profiles remain - these events of the past are still pertinent. You want a way to move forward? Convince the necessary persons to delete the impostor profiles.

Because they are not the one/s doing all the hollering at the moment.

I had not heard of any of that before just now, but to them I say: "Congratulations!"

You wanna help?

Stop your hollering.

I am doing no hollering, and my being silent here would be negligence against you and possibly others.

I am also doing no hollering, however in your responses you have consistently demanded my silence while entertaining conversation with everyone else.

Maybe not intentionally, but you do keep hollering about things in the past at least here on WP.

iamnotaparakeet wrote:

... not a damned thing.

Well, of course: Those folks are WP members too!

I've totally lost track of this conversation ....

Observation: the percentage of people with AS who have religious inclinations seems to be relatively small. While AS does seem to have an affect on one's ability or desire to hold faith, I'm not sensing that AS otherwise interferes with or alters the religious experience. Hence, (a) talking about faith with those of like minds can occur elsewhere and (b) the level of activity a special forum here would have would be low. Plus ... you're not going to stop select PPR folks from going after you special forum or not, because many of them actively believe that faith is a negative thing in our world and needs to be stomped out.

Yes, and ...

The seeming disparity here is in the fact of Christians typically catching the most flak from just about every direction ... and there is just no way WP can protect them from that ... and actually, that is just how things must be in this world today anyway ever since "the tables got turned", so to speak, following the demise of Christendom.

Personal note to militant Christians:

Stop. Disengage ... then meet people at their personal points of need ... if/when they ask!

I'm actually already regretting posting again in this thread ...

ANYWAY, no, I don't think it's Wrong Planet's job to protect our faith, or give us a place to foster it, et al. It just doesn't seem to fit, it that makes any sense. Sometimes I'll come and debate it for the fun of it, but I find this place to be a direct challenge to it and a drain on it, and not something that feeds my relationship with God. Interesting why God would lead me to a place that challenges me in that way, but so it goes; not much He does is about making things easy for us. It does help me see the weak links in my faith experience, and know what I need to work on, so maybe that is the point.

Agreed!

Nah, this sure ain't like "church" is it?!

Yes ... yet we are still (or at least we can become) well-equipped if/when/while/after visiting the supply depot a time or two.

You bet ... and I am personally quite glad you chimed in!

Peace, Sis.

Yes, and there is nothing that can be done about that.

Good to know that you agree with my assessment.
