When I was a young teen, one of my friends was obsessed with the band Hole. She had a crush on Courtney Love. Anyway, we had the same name, so we often called ourselves ______ 1 and ______ 2 like Thing 1 and Thing 2 from The Cat in the Hat. Being dorks, we were always relegated to the back when we went cruising with our friends.

Her: “I want to listen to Hole.”
The matter-of-fact response from the Front Seat: “You can’t cruise while listening to Hole.

Sulky silence until we heard Rob Zombie going on about burning through the witches yet again.

Me neither although I think it’s funny in a cringe sort of way. Of course, I don’t really remember much by White Zombie at this point. It’s been a long time. The songs that I’ve listened to recently aren’t really ringing a bell. I vaguely remember liking some things, though
