I wish I could go out of the house wearing only a crop top and a pair of short shorts

It must be well easy to get dressed in the morning time

I used to enjoy doing that "cats cradle" thing, with a bit of string when I was a nipper

It would be good if my toes were as long as my fingers because I could have played it by myself

Why do I find it so hard to comprehend newspaper articles? I never quite grasp the point they're trying to make, which is why it's advisable never to provide me a news article when I'm asking political questions unless it's simplified or explained first. I'm the sort of "explain it to me like I'm five" sort of person.

I hate cooking
Even when it's only a baked potato
I prefer it when someone makes it for me and then brings it in on a tray
And then puts it on my knee

The way I can naturally tolerate blood is absolutely amazing compared to how I am unable to tolerate vomit. Last Friday at work one of the guys cut his leg and blood was pouring out everywhere. I sat right next to him eating my lunch and watching the bleeding with no feelings of disgust at all. (He had a first-aider helping him). But if someone had been vomiting instead then I would have been screaming and panicking and thinking the sky was falling.

I've got a good puzzle solving brain
I can very easily pick up patterns in things, to the point where it takes over and I just have to let it out

I can make words even though I don't know what they mean

I taught myself to write my own name (I was 3) I can remember the day

It was the day they killed memetaphorically speaking

So if you think I'm smart you're right
And if you think I'm stupid you're also right

I'm stupid smart

I'm glad you're improving

I'm a fan of the double negative me
I don't really think I do it myself, but my ear does cock when I hear other people do it

It triggers me in a good way

Yeah I'm like that too.

Except I had to be cajoled to write in year 1 at school. I couldn't grasp it and panicked. I was in the slow readers group in year 2. I think my short attention span made it difficult for me to learn.
But once I grasped the concept of words and writing around year 4 I found I quite liked creative writing. I just didn't like writing if it wasn't creative, it was too much for my brain.

Yeah I struggle with reading
I know the words but I struggle to understand what the whole sentence says
And I have really poor comprehension

I've probably got a reading age of about primary school something like that because that's more or less the time when I stopped learning at school

Then I picked reading up in about 2017 because I wanted to get more involved with forum discussions on another site
It did help me and I did improve a lot but it takes so much concentration and I've let it slip again

It's just one of them innit

My reading difficulties are due to attention span issues. Also I've never really been into reading much.

Poor attention span is definitely a barrier where reading is concerned

I've got all my admin waiting for me:
5 text messages and 2 emails

I just keep them all in my home screen on my phone and then I cross them off one by one as I do do them

It can take me a few days to get round to looking at them but as long as I can see them, I can't forget to deal with them

I've learned that by myself
