as for trance, i've been liking some releases from the label Kompakt recently. particularily some works by Kaito & L.S.G. must admit i don't know too much trance. it's got a bad rep where i live. i don't really like hi-nrg trance & hardhouse for the extreme repeatidness of every single aspect of it. although as i say i'm not so familiar with it.

-edit - sorry L.S.G. isn't on Kompakt. i mean i like his stuff *also*. Please, if there's one trance release ever to check out, check out L.S.G. - Into Deep. Such a sad & beautiful trip.

I've been looking into jazz recently. So far, I've heard some things by Coltrane I like.

For trance music check out Yawning Man. They're a really cool psychadelic instrumental jam band from Palm Springs. Quite awesome, but hard to find.

Currently love dirty/funky electro, and melodic trance the most. Am exploring progressive house and breaks, tech trance, and dubstep.

I listen to standard punk mostly and a little grunge and newave.

what i mean by that is i don't particularly like punk pop but i don't particularly like lofi either i try to find a middle ground.

lyricaly i tend twords "Pathetique Punk"(sub genre) wich is an asortment of comedic, Apolitical and generally don't care about big issues type bands eg. Toy Dolls and Shapes.

i used to like punk pop more and GC were my fav but after years of defending them i had to admit thier 3rd and 4th albums were kinda gay but rather than spend hours argueing with hardcores and possers i figered stuff this who cares and started looking for a more wierd al flavored punk.

I have the makings of a band with myself on rythm and vocals and a friend on lead guitaer. but only time will tell if we'll find a drummer.
