Tombstone is actually one of my all time favorite westerns.
I love Doc Holliday and I don't mean Val Kilmer. I have this picture on my dresser - I've had it almost 15 yrs. And I wear a lot of Victorian jewelry and hair accessories and lace. My bedroom is even wallpapered Victorian style. I'd give anything to be able to live in that time period. The Roaring Twenties too. I dressed up as a Flapper in a red dress once and was just ravishing! I even had one of those long thingys that held cigarettes! And a boa! And black fishnet stockings! Those were good times.
My late dad was a big fan of the historic Wyatt Earp. He immensely enjoyed Tombstone, even more than the movie Wyatt Earp.
I admit I liked the Tombstone bad guys like Curly Bill Brocious, and Johnny Ringo the best. Then again, I have a soft spot for the old west badmen in my part of the country, such as Harry Tracy, Hank Vaughn, and Bill Miner. As those are not normally household names, it might be fun for you to sometime look them up.

Oh! You might get a kick out of this. I went to Jesse James' funeral! It was back in 1995 after they dug up his bones to make sure it was him. I wore a long black dress and a black hat with a black ribbon that ran down the back. Some people dressed the part. Great memories. My picture made it in the paper and they had made the picture in black and white just like back then. I saw both of Jesse's houses in Missouri and the one next to the Patee House where Jesse was shot.
I always wanted to make it down to Tombstone and see The Birdcage Theater which they say is haunted. I bet Doc may be there since that was one of the spots he frequented.

Back in old west times, I had had a great great grandfather, or some sort of relative, who had been in attendance at the trial of Jesse James' son, who had been caught after an attempted train robbery. During the proceedings, Frank James showed up. When the judge asked him what his intentions were, Frank said he was there to see that justice was done. Then he sat there, with gun in hand. The jury found the dumb kid innocent - no surprise. This fore-bearer of mine later said that Frank James looked like a dangerous man.

And then Carrie gives him all those tickets for free dances and he thinks she sucks at it. Remember when Doug pole dances to show Carrie how it should be done? It was like he was a natural! Too funny. He's never been in any show that good since.
