Same here.. I'm pretty good at reading people and seeing behind their BS. It doesn't always happen immediately, but I can replay a conversation in my mind and look for little things.. For instance I once talked to a guy who was interested in being a salesman for a business a friend and I run. At the time everything seemed great and he seemed to be exactly the person we were looking for. But when I thought about it after the fact, I realized that whenever I'd ask a question like "how's business going now?" or "why did you leave your last job?", he'd tend to pause and stammer just a little bit, and generally be a little on the evasive side. It was very subtle, but I noticed it after analyzing the conversation.

Based on that I did some more research, and found out that he got canned from his previous job because he never really got anything done.

I retain and comprehend information at a much faster rate than most people. I don't do homework and I always break the curve on tests. I also have masosistic tendancies where pain doesn't affect me much if at all. Same with hot and cold. Then I am very ambidextrous. I can do two things at once like shave and brush my teeth.

Similar case here, except not that great at multitasking. And I have sensitive teeth- which sucks.

Sorry if I offended you or made you uncomfortable by bringing it up, Scoots. I really do think it's quite impressive, though.



I do that unconciously. I am not sure if I can quote verbatim, but it is usually close enough (I have a tendency to speak in the person's voice and use their gestures when I am quoting them, too). I think it gets on people's nerves because they don't expect to be held to exactly what they have said before. Sometimes they may take it as mockery, but I have also amused some of my friends with my impressions of people unintentionally.

I have a bit of a photographic memory.

Interesting... me too. I never thought of it as a special ability before, but I can ususally tell what time it is within 5-10 minuets of accuracy. I used to think that this was related to amount of daylight, but my current workplace does not have windows, and I can still do it.


Other than that...I instantly memorize song lyrics, usually within 1 or 2 listens of a song...this can be anoying at times as song that I don't even like will get stuck on "replay" in my head for hours on end.

I can't do that, but I can set my microwave for whatever amount of time (under 10 minutes) and just stand up and return to it seconds before it starts beeping, all without ever seeing the timer. I was wondering if you guys could do that with the cool timekeeping stuff.

Though I do have various talents, I don't think I have any savant style abilitys, I'll have to think about it.

I can do that too! I have a terrible sense of time on a large scale, I lose track of time and I generally don't even know what hour it is , but my sense of time for very short intervals is very good, I can time it so I reach the microwave the second it beeps.

I've been told in my first year of piano class from my teacher and family that I accelerated pretty quickly, though I didn't get through the music book I was given because I was writing my own music, and I'm currently in a Creative Writing program at the Orange County High School of the Arts. Um...let's see...I know the square roots of the numbers 2 through 10 and pi up to ten digits plus pi times 2 through pi times 12...I think that's it. I also know the first twelve numbers of the Fibonacci sequence, but everyone familiar with the sequence knows that many. Yup. I guess that's it, then, unless I forget something.

I have a crazy wild imagination that some people could only dream of.

That comes out in my artwork, also.

I also have the ability to pick up vibes from people, and see through them (that one includes internet people).

I'll usually know what someone is like from the moment I first meet them.

I'm like that too, though usually moreso here. Sometimes there are times when my ability to see through people seems to fall a little short of telepathic. It still doesn't preclude me from being socially clueless at other times.

I still have eidetic memory and i'm 18. Other than that I just have excellent comprehension.

Nomaken, that avatar creeps me out!

I can't decide whether it creeps me out or I really like it. Whichever it is, I have been staring at it for a solid two or three minutes each time I come across the posting.

I better add that the song quote in my last post is not directed at anybody.
