If you act decent with your brother, and you don't let you mother get to you so much, you probably won't have to go into a group home.

The last time I was in a group home it didn't work out well because they moved me into a cruddy apartment and the manager of the place had it out for me.

Is it even possible to volunteerly move out of a group home on your own? I am over 18 and maybe I can save enough towards getting my own place someday?

I wish I could just live alone and be a hermit without people bothering me...

Is the trailer really bad?

I can't take living with my mom anymore and she doesn't want me back because I DARED to stand up for myself.

Your Florida Medicaid is not valid in Georgia. Maybe that is why you are seeing Florida doctors? But if so, you need to live in Florida.

If you are going to stay in Georgia you need to change to Georgia ID and Georgia Medicaid.

Maybe I can move to Tallahassee?

I'm going to have to go back home. My brother abd sister cant take care of me and I have nowhere to go. So my mom wins.

I wish your mother would allow you to give her rent for the trailer, so the relationship between you two would be more "adult."

If the trailer is really bad, then it's different.

Its not a bad trailer, just the floor and hotwater needs fixing. But she will use this to forever control me like she does everything else...

Paying rent to her would be a symbolic act. It would mean give you some adult responsibilities. It might make her respect you more.

And you would have your own space. How much would it cost to fix the hot water?

I honestly dont know, but ill get it worked out. I suggested her giving me an allowance out of my SSI check for groceries like I did at the group home and she said ok. Now lets see if she actually keeps true to that promise...

You should also start doing what Blazingstar suggested. Blazingstar really knows about this sort of stuff.

My biggist problem is i cant drive and I live in a town without public transportstion.

I know that's really a big hassle.

I'm not judging you---but what makes you unable to drive?

Is it because you have trouble "doing two things at once" while you're driving?
