Hydrogen power....... equals water power separation of Oxygen and hydrogen molecules .?

Back to the wankel , have seen RL. Wankel motored motorcycle , pretty rare motor .in a motorcycle.

The good thing about hydrogen is it is easily made on the move. It is as simple as passing an electric current through a coil mounted in some water. The hydrogen seperates from the oxygen. The dissadvantage is the explosion is hotter and more powerful then gassoline, so is inclined to ruin gaskets. Making hydrogen while on the move is not a safety concern as the hydrogen will be used by the engine as soon as it is made. Hydrogen is and always has been a dangerous gas to store.

Hydrogen combines with oxygen when exposed to air, and it's explosive. But hydrogen exploding that way is not the same thing as a "hydrogen bomb". Its a chemical reaction, and not a nuclear reaction. An actual hydrogen bomb is hydrogen atoms fusing to become helium atoms or some other element. Not hydrogen atoms just bonding with oxygen to form....water (thats what happened with the Hindenburg).

That would only be an issue at low pressure in a light container like say a rubber balloon; if it's stored at a high enough pressure it will be denser than the air outside of the container (not to mention the heavy metal vessel required to maintain that pressure will heavy enough that the container and it's contents will have more mass than the same volume of air).

Apparently, one of Henry Ford's family was threatened to be killed, after the proto-type of the hydrogen powered engine was released, likely some government-trained person or corporate competitor who did not like the idea of a cheap, carbon neutral engine getting into the mainstream. Those who control(led) the present, control(led) the future, and those who knew about the future, control(led) the present.

I know someone who used to extract hydrogen from water and he used to power parts of his house with hydrogen, successfully.

There are two kinds of hydrogen engines. Internal combustion, and fuel cells. They worked very differently from each other. Internal combustion hydrogen engines work much the same as conventional gasoline cars. They just use hydrogen as fuel that gets burned. Can be piston, or wankel (Mazda has built some hydrogen prototype wankels). Gas cars send out carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide, as exhaust. Hydrogen burning just yields water vapor as exhaust.

But most modern hydrogen cars are fuel cell cars that use hydrogen to power electric batteries.

Aaah. The onomatopoeia made me guess dirt bike or sled. The BRRRRAAAAAAP of the red neck mating call. :p

I didn’t know what the name of a Mazda rotary engine was. And I was only familiar with them being in the RX-7 & RX-8, not other models - never really thought about them being in other cars or trucks.
