but just the same, none of us are, yet you are still stronger than you realize. you have reservoirs of inner strength and determination and forbearance, but it never feels like it, does it?

California leaves the whole gamut of impressions.

One cannot generalize about California.

Wish were closer together to for Aspies . Would be ideal . But California is Not what it’s cracked up to be .
It is a plastic facade ..... they generally have the same weirdness in there climate.in the other parts of the country where there is 3 seasons ,in Calif has rain, hot , and much much too hot . Literally cannot go out with out some sort of air conditioning . Or sun protection Aswell . But that is mainly the Southern half . But that was just my experience.
Please pardon the generalization . Experiences of dishonesty in their law enforcement . Aswell . But California is probably not a exception about that .

I wish there were a member nearby who would be willing to (try at least) to fix her walker. Unfortunately in my case I'm halfway across the world.

Cats and dogs are ultimate comfort when one is feeling at all down!

Kitty,
Have you considered asking your doctor to consider you for various possible causes of the pain that you are suffering.

fibromyalgia
chronic fatigue syndrome
rheumatoid arthritis

poor sleep is also common with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and people with various mental health disorders. In some cases, mental health disorders and neurological abnormalities can cause certain sleep disorders.

For better sleep, try and avoid all caffeine and other stimulants, as well as alcohol. As these foodstuffs can cause poor sleep.

Also consider getting the best mattress you can. perhaps an thick memory foam one that you can sink into.
avoid stimulants.

Try relaxation therapy such as body scan relaxation from John Kabat Zinn
Consider using night shade mode on any computer / tv
or buy some special tv glasses that tint what you see so as to remove the blues and enhance the yellows.

otherwise known as gaming glasses that remove the blue light from what you see,
as its the blue light that promotes stay away neurotransmitters in your brain that promotes you to stay awake.

Was thinking about your (Kitty's) pain and thinking what the problem could be.
One thing I forgot to mention that in some cases, long lengths of time spent in bed oversleeping due to depression etc.
can also lead to pain in the limbs.

During a time that I was more depressed, I had some minor problems, mostly pain in my ankles and calf muscles.
This generally happened if I spent a couple of days in bed in a row.

I believe this happens due to circulation problems that are caused by lengthy periods in bed, but if you spend extreme periods in bed (say many days to weeks), the pain can be a result of weak muscles, as your muscles will lose their strength if not exercised.

I believe that part of the cure for this type of muscle pain is in fact exercise.
Going to the gym or going on walks (if you are able) may help.

Otherwise if the pain persists, then perhaps see a Doctor, who may be able to get to the bottom of the matter (hopefully not piles).

This. Plain and simple. We would be there for each other without a second thought. Hugs Kitty. X
