The end-times are very soon and I'm unhappy about that

I'm going to say bluntly that society sucks now and I get the feel that living my life is already over or almost over because of the time I was born in and I have to be 29 today and see society in this state.

Why isn't it possible to go back to see a past time? You can even travel to the future, that is hypothetically possible, but not the past. Why does it have to be so?

I feel travelling back in time is not going to happen. I would like to visit the multiverse and chat with another version of me

Covid sucks and all, but apart from that, the present time isn't that bad, you just need to know a little bit of hstory to know that. It's just not as good as we thought it was or expected it would be.
