I remember about 12-13 years ago it said in huge, bold print on the front of a newspaper "NUKE POLAND". I don't know who or why, but it's 12+ years later and Poland is still standing, fortunately.

It's not that I take things literally, it's just that my anxiety can get the better of me, also I have trouble containing factual information so I don't always know what is factually true and what is factually false.

It's okay.
These particular threats are mostly empty bluffs - and all the NATO forces in Europe are doing quite a lot to keep them practically impossible to follow.

I had to get used to people not meaning what they were saying myself. So I was thinking you were doing the same thing.
Hopefully you're not so scared now.
