I'm a Logic 5 man, but I also use Audition and Audacity.

Cool. Hopefully you can find some resources to learn to make good use of it.

I need to find a better way to contact NOA like through Facebook or E-mail because I think my letter got lost in the mail, which would explain why there is no response yet!! !

Cannot start the remixing project until I get the greenlight from Nintendo!

Actually...I can start this at any time even without having permission from Nintendo!! !

It's just if I want to sell the album commercially, that is when I will need the permission!

Now before I can start, I need to find an online source of classic NES, SNES, Game Boy, Gameboy Advance and N64 game sheet music so I can transpose it!! !

Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Also, I have to wait 30 days until I can regain access to my other computer where the DAW is installed!! !

What I was thinking I should do before actually producing a full retail or digital album is to submit my remixes to a website like OCR (Overclocked Remix) first!! !

I can ask on their forums how to get started with the process like transposing songs too!

And I can do all of this without having to wait for permission from Nintendo!!

I could even recruit people from WP forums to help with the project but...it's not quite ready to start yet...

Sony Acid Music has been around for over 20 years, and is a pretty well known DAW. Good pick.

Have you ruled out the use of "Furnace"? It's an Open Source Chiptune tracker:
https://github.com/tildearrow/furnace

Here's the sort of song you can create with it:

Here's a talented chiptune maker, "Nicco1690", shredding it hard in Furnace:

My thought was to just produce the songs & then submit them to a website like OCR first then compile the remixes into an actual album!! !

This allows me to fine-tune and refine my remixing skills before making a full-length CD album!

Have you completed a single song yet? That's probably the best way to practice, by actually doing the thing.

Expect your first few to not be as good as you'd like them to be.
