I had Easter alone.

The reason I gave wasn't the main reason, though. I just said that I was tired and slept all day.

The main reason, though, was that my niece made a turkey and she left it sitting out for days to thaw. I don't even want to be in the same room when people are eating that turkey. It turned out that she had bought another turkey and cooked it instead.

The turkey that made me nervous is still uncooked. Fortunately, it is now in a refrigerator instead of on the counter, but it spent so long on the counter that I don't even want to handle the thing. There is no way that I'm going to eat it if and when she cooks it. I am tempted to buy the turkey from her and throw it in the trash.

Your writing style is compelling. Every post is consistent: dark, stark and morose. You paint a vivid picture. I am reminded of Lovecraft's stories. You seem like one of the characters that Cthulu might reach out to and bless with powers and abilities.

You might enjoy going out to a park for a walk. That is what I do. Another idea is to write some more, because you clearly enjoy writing and seem to have a knack for it. What is more, you somehow snare people into replying to your posts, and that implies a certain amount of skill on your part.

I have to admit, I was kind of hoping this was going to be a sales pitch for Cthulhu-ism. That's the second time I've heard Lovecraft mentioned this week. Soooo, maybe those of us spurned by society should all just curl up with a nice blankie and a few Pagan books over the holidays? I'm in!

Maybe you could celebrate by watching your favourite Thanksgiving movie! Do they have those? Wait, is this thread from last year?

Hi OP. I'm hosting a virtual Friendsgiving for my local support group for adults with ASD. It will be very informal and just an opportunity for people to chat about what's on their mind and have some company on the holiday. Many of us would also be alone on Thanksgiving otherwise. You're welcome to join us. I'll send you a PM with info and a link for the Zoom meeting in case you may be interested.

Btdt

Ranch 99 is open thanksgiving but I think it will be way too crowded

I don't have a car or "friends" or family. On thanksgiving the bus on Sunday schedule

Actually there is a Chinatown one bus ride away from my Pigpen. But the bus scheduled once an hour and the ride takes over one hour long
