There are threads that women don't want to share with men. What part of that do you not understand? It is irrelevant whether you judge it to be little or ridiculous or absurd. You don't happen to be a dinosaur, do you? Your terminology is familiar, but very old.

And there are threads older folk might
not want to share with younger, and
vice versa. Threads gays may feel
that they don't wish to share with
straights. Threads those with certain
psychological difficulties don't want
to share with those who don't... the list
goes on. This is a PUBLIC FORUM. Not
your private diary. If you want something
hidden, you don't post it in public.

Seems pretty damned simple to me.

I think that a fair few people post in the Women's Forum purely by accident, due to the fact that new threads in it appear alongside threads from all the *other* forums in the 'posts since your last visit' thingy. I know *I* don't bother checking which forum the threads are in, I just click on ones that sound interesting. I don't think I've accidentally invaded the Women's Forum so far, though.

Me too, sometimes I click on something I find interesting by its title, and I don't realise what forum it belonged, so it is not always the case a guy is sneaking to see what women are talking about.

None necessary. I'm not going to act like I wasn't a bit of an ass with the "riled up" comment and a couple other things. :P

Yes woman's forum should be for woman only. Allot of woman won't post in it because of all the men in there.

Officially, the Womens' Discussion folder is open to all members regardless of gender. In some threads, male feedback is encouraged.

I choose not to go into that forum--this is as a show of respect for the female members who may only want to share certain issues with other female members.

I have only posted 3 times (out of 7106 posts, and over 3 years of WP membership) in that folder, and all were in topics that originally appeared in the upper right hand corner of the WP home page.
