Not a fan of Glenn Beck at all. I don't trust him.
Anything he brings up is highly biased and full of inflated, illogical rhetoric that should only be reserved for the likes of crotchety old men such as Andy Rooney.

Bush's second term ends in January 2009 and he's not allowed to stay in office after that. However, given what Bush has done so far I wouldn't be surprised if he refused to leave and tries to become our dictator and use the army to rule. I'm worried Bush may become the next Hitler.

OH LAWD! HAHAHAHA, you're a riot, Guy Fawkes.

Don't you think if he was to be a dictator, the likes of you (and those who sway to your ideas) would have been executed by now? Don't you think you'd be arrested by now? I'm sure the mass graves are somewhere in Idaho, no?

This is a representative democracy. The people elected represent US by vote. We may not like the people elected. We should try to elect better legislators/electorates to run for office if we are not liking our current elected officials.

Look at a map, or google earth, or whatever.

Everything political and the recent drama aside.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that Afghanistan is on the east border and Iraq is on the west border of Iran? Just look at that for a sec...

i remember seeing him on tv a few years ago
he said, involving iraq, I don't care if the only "person" supporting me was my dog
we're staying
hmm
he admitted he truly does not care about what americans think

so it's scary
because the force in the atmosphere is off balance but it grips the people
it's almost too easy to convince majority that it is the thing to do
now, i have to believe the same goes in iran
but it's just a circle
we speak openly of hate and opposition
obviously they respond in the same manor
now the silly redneck sees this and joins in the circle

here's an idea
i can't speak for all nations but we are the ones elected him right?
and i assume in some fashion most others choose their leaders
the people are in charge
so, if the leaders have a problem,...let them fight it out first
i don't have a problem with Iran
i don't want a problem and i don't want one created out of thin air

he can't tell me it has anything to do with the threat of nuclear arms when it's well known other countries have them and maybe i dreamt this but didn't N.Korea(or south) just set one off near japan last year?
so...what's another reason because that argument doesn't fly

bush is very bad
what's dangerous is he does not know

We'll attack Iran for Israel, not for the interest of the US though. Iran doesn't post a threat to us at ALL.

They are just waiting for the right time for something to occur to convince the public to accept another false war, and just a lot of innocent people killed.

I may be a lurker, but I know hateful opinions when I see them. Your antisemitic screed is quite thinly veiled. Stop reading "Protocols", ok?

Oh, and I'm reporting your post to the mods.

Am I missing something here? I can only find one post by Nambo, and I can't find the words you quote anywhere in that post.

You're missing something. DevilInPgh didn't quote Nambo's exact text, so as not to repeat the antisemitic slur. Since you need help finding it (sigh...), here it is:

Quote:
I understand Iran is one of the last few countries the Pharisees dont run the banking system for, now that they run Afganistan and Iraq, and since the G8 summit, Africas economic system.

"Give me control of a nations monetary system and it matters not who makes the laws", (or something). Rothschild

Hard to read that as anything but anti-Jewish sentiment.

(Now where's the anti-racist brigade that was vehemently breathing down my neck several weeks ago for writing about Dutch folks and BlackPete...)

Yes, it is an anti-semitic statement that is somewhat veiled - many people would read through it and not think about who the Pharisees are. The term Pharisees is sometimes used generically to refer to the existing power structure (regardless of religion), but in the context that was (with a Rothschild quote), that is most probably derrived from some conspiracy theory like the Protocol book, or modern derrivatives that go on and on about 'the ZOG.'

The Iranian banking system may be relatively independent of the international banking system, but all the evidence I have seen points to an inefficient system based on cronyism, corruption, and naive political/religious idealism, which is not a good thing for the Iranian people.

Did I sleep through the Dutch Santa controversy?? 8)

Yours truly was sternly warned by The Powers That Be for speaking out against northwest-European racist traditions. :?

I agree with the third part, but not the first. There is a US-Israel axis, and the countries are cooperating out of perceived self-interest. Israel feels its existence is threatened, and the US is interested in oil and hegemony. Israel has excess intel, while the US has a larger military. While it may not in fact be in the long term interest of the US to attempt to reshape the Middle East in the way that they are attempting, those attempts are based on leaderships pursuit of self-interest as they see it.

This was all spelled out by the Project for a New American Century. In this new order, Israel replaces Britain as the close partner of the US.

America attacking Iran could easily turn into a world war, Iran has powerful allies such as china and Russia, and Russia along with Germany and the Vatican is one of the most powerful forces in the EU.

lets hope it dosent happen I say.

This is the Politics, Philosophy, and Religion forum. By its very nature it is contentious. We express views here that are anti- just about everything, people, countries, religions, you name it. But if somebody posts something that can be considered anti-Semitic, we are supposed to stop everything and punish the evil-doer? Give me a break!

Their objections to the invasion of Iraq didn't have much effect.
