reality tv needs to die

I lost TV for a year, and only recently got it back. Since I'm a minority of 1 male and 5 females, it's either Disney (80%), CSI (pick your city), or Paranormal Resarch.

Which brings me to the Web... Maybe the smart people are here, and it's the dim bulbs that remain on TV...

The reality TV people, or whatever they're called, don't really care what we want. They're only going to do what they want and that's making shows that don't require real actors or writers or anyone with talent or skill.

They also don't care if the attention they get is good or bad. Most people probably only watch theses shows so they can talk about how awful it was the next day. But as enjoyable as it is to talk about things you hate, giving it any kind of attention is possibly why these shows have been on for so long.

My family and I all agree that most reality shows are overrated to some degree and need to get off the air immediately.

Most reality shows now are just rip-offs of old reality shows, which is why my family and I only watch "reality" shows that are on PBS.

No booing please, but I like reality tv. I thought maybe it was just an NT thing, but I had an Aspie that liked to watch and discuss Big Brother with me. I like watching it while I knit or crochet because its like mindless tv that I don't have to think about when I'm thinking about something else (my knitting pattern). I also thought about it much more than that and I think I mainly like watching it for the psychology and how people these days deal with their friendships/relationships. Reality tv also usually has a lot of "drama and action" and is visually stimulating (I'm a visual person) so I could get the same kinds of excited feelings from a good action film with Bruce Willis too. That's my only explanations of why I like reality tv.
