Nugent was a right winger long before Obama was president. I remember in the early 90s the Michigan Militia being on the news for being raided and my co worker wondering if Nugent was among the arrested.

Nugent is genuinely a bad person.

Looking from the perspective of 2025 the term “jailbait” never mind the activities it describes seems sexist as hell as it implies the underage girl is at fault. So it is good the term has fallen out of favor and better yet fell out of favor sans a cancellation campaign.

Yeah, I researched the song after I watched the video and saw that it was released in 1981. It’s shocking to me that Nugent still has such a platform, making frequent appearances on mainstream news outlets, and has a following. Well, I know a bit about his following. :roll:

Of course, Fox News portrays him as a Good GuyTM.
