I often say 'princess' as an insult to both sexes.
I hated being both called little or big girl because i felt that one implied that i was small and inferior, then the other implied i had more fat than i needed. I've been called sugar-tits by my boyfriend, I'm ok with that because it's hilarious to me. I like the term "Lady" pretty well. I've had guys say I'm a "pretty lady" or something similar. Just 'hun' is alright. 'Honey' is too sweet.

Yeah, I'd take it as a compliment too if someone assumed that I was practically born on the back of a horse! :D

my boyfriend's dad likes to call me princess. At first it made me mad, but then I realized that me getting mad doesn't go anywhere, so I just shrug it off now. If he can't see that I'm doing my best to straighten my life out and that I'm not much of a princess after all, then that's his fault. He'll see in due time, however. I don't break promises I keep, and I already promised a lot of people that I plan to SHOW THEM that I ain't no princess and are working to become something worth it. I don't want my kids to grow up with a broken mother!

But I'm hot headed on "little girl". Nobody calls me that anymore for good reasons. I don't just take it when I get called little girl, I explode. Except when I KNOW it's for a troll.

There was a Yahoo! article talking about "princess' being wrong (forgot what it said.) When it comes to a relationship I don't like cutesy names honey sweetheart or My woman! ICK! Hey this is my girlfriend or something like that is sufficient or Hey Brandy. Not honey or some other s**t! :-)

hahahaha we use weird names like "butts" or "stinks" or "[insertsomethinghere]kitties", it gets a lot of looks in public.
