Are we sure the last word shouldn't be "assaulted" rather than "pregnant" ?

Who really sinned here?

That was my thought. It's certainly possible that they broke their vows, but I wouldn't automatically assume that it was consensual. With all the nuns in the world, unfortunately, I'm sure at least a few are assaulted every year and some number becomes pregnant.

Not to mention the Church's history of turning a blind eye to sex abuse committed by priests.

^^ I’ve never seen so many unpleasant people in one spot as at my former church. (Of course, I never attended a Trump rally.) I remember thinking: “Y’all are making leaving real easy. I don’t even care if you shun me at this point.”

Topics that were deemed worthy of gossip:

- The “immodest” length of that new sister’s skirt (two inches above the knee)

- The family whose kids were allowed to read Harry Potter

- The young couple who watched TV shows with gay characters

- The “spiritually weak” family who had been missing a lot of church services

- The family who was not disciplining (i.e. spanking) their kids

And that was just the gossip about insiders

The Church I was brought up in wasn't like that. But, it was a much more progressive group than many others. It shocked me that, so many quit as a result of the Church started performing ceremonies for same-sex couples. The only reason that Jesus wasn't hanging out with homosexuals is that the modern sense of the word wasn't created until centuries later.

There is also the possibility that the nuns were impregnated by incubi

Genesis 6 wrote:

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose...There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

This was how Jesus was born. We'll have to see what emerges from the nuns' wombs. Maybe they will turn out to be mighty men of renown.

Although, things might not have turned out so well for the "sons of God" who were active in Genesis 6.

Jesus was a pederast.
